Hi,
I have just recently added some Amazon products to our hubpages but we are required to add a code. How can I be sure that this was done right? I have already joined Amazon Associates US and I already have a tracking ID. I simply add my tracking ID to the earnings section and thats it? Then if anybody buys products from my hub then I get a commission?
Have you added your Amazon ID here?

Do you have to be an Amazon affiliate to start making money from Amazon on HubPages? I'm new and used to the way Squidoo does it.
I believe that the way Amazon earnings work is going to change here soon, no seems exactly sure when.
As the way Amazon worked here is changing the best explanation I can offer is this link

If you check the official announcements at the top of the 'forum' page when there are any updates they will appear there.

Amazon changed their affiliate program yesterday by cutting the payout for most affiliates by half or more. Has HubPages addressed how these changes will affect content providers here?

I'm kinda pissed and extremely dismayed. I've been with Hubpages and Amazon Associates for 5 years now and haven't made a dime with Amazon the entire time. I've reached out for help numerous times and not a single person told me that I have to get my Amazon links from the Amazon Associates website...
