I'm going with the Magic. I watched every game of the series with the cavs, because I'm a cavs fan. Let me tell you the magic are way to physical for the Lakers. We all saw how physical the Nuggets were and the nearly won that series. The Magic are much more physical than the nuggets. Oh and one more thing the Magic can shot the ball very well. Just like LeBron couldn't carry the Cavs, Kobe won't be able to play 1-on-5 with the Magic.
I stand on the same line with you ~I'm going with the Magic...but under this situation...I maintain Magic maybe have some stress. However nobody knows the result before their final game ``Magic go go go `````
Gotta go for the Lakers, as the hubby is a die-hard! I'm originally from CA so its a good way for me to go, too.
Rockets and the Nuggets were too physical for the Lakers but the Lakers won. I'll take skills, abilities & experience over physical strength anyday. Lakers in 5 games.
Lakers too skill and experience. Like I said in the begining of this series Lakers in 5 games. Lakers are the NBA champion in 5 games!!!! Congrats Kobe !!!
As I said in another post, Magic are gonna take the win. Look at the last game with the Cavs; our defense was MONEY!! Then pass to Howard who is double, if not triple teamed under the basket. He either easily makes the two, gets fouled and makes two, or passes it to the outside for an open three. We will take this series home!
I gotta agree with you caveman. I really think the Lakers are in trouble. KingKongster may be right in regardes to the rockets and the nuggets were very physical, but does that mean that the Laker's are tired? The Magic are on one hell of a run, and they are without a doubt the better all around team in this series.
i feel the magic are very capable of winning the nba title. usually defense wins championships but the magic have been shooting lights out all series long and i dont see them stopping now. they also have a lot of grit and fight in them so they will not give up which will give them a fighting chance. but if the magic have a bad shooting night and lose another game it will be over and kobe will get his first ring without shaq. the magic needs to win game 4, and if the lakers let them shoot over 60% then they will.
I hope the magic plays better in game 2 or this series is going to be a sweep. KB24 is a different beast than LBJ23.
After game 1, it is hard to say the Magic will be able to pull it off, but KOBE CAN'T WIN WITHOUT SHAQ. Just kidding...Lakers will probably win, but I am pulling for D Howard and the Magic.
Well after the first two games it does not look good for the magic. Even though game two could've gone eithier way.
Magic won game 3, so it is 2 to 1 Lakers. lakers scoring depth is not as good as last year so they could blow it. After all, the Lakser were the only team to blow a 2-0 lead in this format with Detroit 5 years ago. The Magic have a better all-around team like the Celtics had a better team last year. Who knows. I think Lakers will win only IF there other players really contribute and Kobe doesn't hog the ball.
I reckon Magic are gonna take this one, but that is based on what my American friends tell me mostly, I don't know from basketball.

Will it be as good as the finals between them in the 80s?

I think the Mavs really earned it, 2-0, as of today May 5. Dirk is hard to stop. Plus Only three NBA teams have come back to win a best-of-seven series after losing the first two at home. They are in the same situation with the Celtics. This is an interesting read...

The best player in the game today. LeBron or Kobe?

I'm not sure giving away Odom was the right thing to do, but it seems like it's a play to open up some money to bring in the next major star to replace Kobe Bryant as he nears retirement. Don't get me wrong, Kobe has a few more good years in him. Does Dwight Howard make the Lakers a...
