We have pushed Death away from Life, the dying away from the living - all in order to impose the illusion of control on the uncertainty of change. We have lost touch with the natural world and with our place in it as mortal animals. We have forgotten "how to die."

For every beast, dragon, war and Empire that raises and falls. Their dead bodies will be replace by green grass and among the grass, Grass Hoppers will be making love

    Make love love not war
Do your good and peace before the world is over
    Make love not War

We can work it out , I never had no doubt
Do the right thing, cause we are always fighting
For heaven and hell is on earth can be back biting
Make love not War!  isn't that more exciting

    What are your thoughts?

Definitely prefer love. To prevent war you would have to get rid of testosterone as War is a male prerogative. And then? No love! The world would spin to a boring finality!
      Nice idea though!

Male Apes do not fight as much as the female Apes, it just when the male ape fight the risk of death is far greater. As so for Human Being

What? Females fight to protect their young, males fight for territory and dominance.

Chimpanzees are willing to attack and kill chimps from neighboring groups in an effort to expand their territory, according to scientists who have studied a primate colony in Uganda for 10 years.

The chimp behavior could shed light on the evolutionary roots of human cooperation, the researchers said in a study published online Monday in the journal Current Biology. Other experts said it could help explain the origins of human warfare.

It may sound odd to say this but when one experiences the loss of a loved parent the 'process and emotions' that you go through changes who you are. Some qualities about you that you were never aware of emerge from the pain. One being that you become aware of your own mortality.

We do become aware of our own mortality but for how long? How soon do we return to our immortal selves delved deep into our everyday lives until once again, faced with the notion of death. If we all lived everyday as if it was our last, the thought of death gives way to hope.

Yes, when a friend of mine dies, after knowing some of them for a few  decades, it certainly makes you aware about how fragile life is.

Life is a condition which will ultimately result in death.

I stared the reaper in the face more than once, attended relative strangers as they passed, attended my mother as she was passing, and watched my sister slip away. In my search for reason and purpose in this life, I have looked at it from nearly every possible angle, and the conclusion that I reached was this. If there is no God, then live your life to the fullest, and if there is a God...live your life to the fullest. If there is a purpose, then that is surely it. Peace

I would try to call as many love ones as much as I could, and probably tell them that I should of spent more time with them than spending so much  at the office and  work..

Yet would not have any regrets about any part of my life as a whole....................

Going to call the daughter right now
