How to Implement Kontera

I'm trying to implement Kontera ads on my hubs, but each time I paste the HTML code into the text box on my hub, Hub Pages said it needs to be cleaned up and then deletes it.  Where do I put the HTML code? Or is there something different I need to do?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't waste your time if I were you. Cutting and pasting articles from elsewhere will probably get you banned eventually. I have already flagged one of your hubs.

Thanks man.  Too bad you were too busy trying to get other members banned to realize that I was the one who wrote the original article, and I'm pretty sure it's legal to republish my own work, as I own the rights to it.  I've also spoken with the Hubpages team about it and they've oked it.  Thanks for the "help" though.

So how come the hub I flagged has now been deleted?

Hi Brian, welcome to HubPages.  You have written a lot of wonderful work.  I checked out your profile on Associated Content.  Glad you're here.

You need to go to affiliate settings and set up an account with Kontera by accessing the link there, then simply copy ur id from the Kontera home page to the affiliate ID on you hubpages affiliate page. You will see on the bottom of the page a notification where hubpages asks you abt activating Kontera on selected hubs or all, select the option u desire & thats it. You don't have to add any links any where in the hubs at all. Kontera does that itself.
    Hope this is helpful smile
    Cheers

Even if it is your own works it is very silly to publish it elsewhere as it will be to the detriment of your SE rankings, since Google etc value original content.

You can post duplicate material, HubPages HQ allows it. But it will suffer a HubScore penalty.

What isn't allowed are any hyperlinks added to duplicate content.

Thank you for the support.  I'm just trying to get my work out there, regardless of whether it is detrimental to my Hubscore or not.

I wouldn't know if Kontera is better than adsense or not because I have not experienced Kontera.  As for the types of products you sell on your site you have ot consider if they are fitting.  If your site is adult rated then your audience may not be offended at seeing the ads.  If you are targeting a wider audience then you may want to stay away from this kind of thing.  Are these the commission ads?

Personally, I've also had trouble with Kontera. I tried to sign up through the affliliate tracking and never got a publishers id for them just a weird code that it said to paste into my sites. I think it was some type of html code. Sorry, I'm not that good at understanding code. I tried contacting them stating that I wanted to setup an affliate code for hubpages and they denied the account saying that they did not support that type of content. Which I thought was strange. I really don't know what I did wrong.
