   So where are you off to this summer? and is there a particular reason why?

   School....school and more school. My parents want me to go year 'round. So I'll be stuck in Utah until Christmas.
   
   It's not all bad though. There's lots to see and do. I'm planning a trip up to the Tetons again (since I'm obsessed) and a trip down to see some petroglyphs in Southern Utah. Plus, plenty of fossil hunting. And I'm taking scuba diving this spring, so it'll be like a vacation...just not really.
   
   And I'll be climbing plenty of mountains and waterfalls like I did last summer here, so I'll survive.

    Since I like to hike and trek with my dog(s), I will be hiking with my Kuvasz boy for his debut long distance hike. We will be hitting Ontario's famous 780 kms long Bruce Trail.
    
    He is currently under training as you can see in my hubs. However, I am not sure how is he going to fare in our summers here, which can get uncomfortably warm.

    my father in law is taking us on a cruise to Alaska and my parents are taking us cabin camping to the Black Hills (my dad's favorite vacation spot), both in July! Will be a busy month.

    This summer we are by the Lake in Kununurra  Western Australia for the wet season !It has been very hot (42deg) so I am loving the rain tday . Later in the year we hope to be overseas somewhere .....

    Home to my parents' for a bit, and then who knows? I love finally having time to devote to bigger projects so the need to go somewhere is less pressing. Some local exploring will give me enough adventure, and it's so nice to know your own area well.

    I am going to Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. My parents are taking me and my four brothers and sisters and my two brothers in law, sister in law, and possible future sister in law. I am really looking forward to it!
