I just would like to know that does $500 a month from Hubpages too difficult? I am a hubber on health topic, especially about migraines.
Does it seems possible for newbie and how long does it should be estimate to reach this target?
Your opinion and suggestion would be a great encourage to me
Thanks,
With grammar like that, $500 per month is going to be extremely difficult. Hubs with very poor grammar get flagged and unpublished by the moderators as being low quality.
Relache is right - you will have to do much better to reach anything like that figure.
It will be next to impossible for a newbie to do. I've personally topped that number only a few times in two years of writing here, and all were fairly recent. It will take lots of hard work as well as months of time.
Oh that is so great.... thank goodness that we now have someone who will write about Pains in the Head!
We used to have soooo many who could only write about the Pains in the Butt!
Thanks everyone for your comment. I will start with the "30 hubs in 30 days" program. So, I can learn more and improve my writing
Wish you all the best,
Welcome and good luck with your goals... it will take time, as good things do.. but good on you for making the effort to set goals.. take care.
Thanks, Pearldiver My first goal is 30 hubs in 30 days, start tomorrow. Wish you all the best
As you have just started out why are you giving yourself tough goals like this? A superior quality hub takes a lot of time, effort and experience to produce. So why do you not just give yourself plenty of time on every new hub, thoroughly read everything in the Learning Centre and enjoy yourself?
That is great advise by CMHypno... this 30/30 is okay for those who are used to writing on a regular basis. It does become hard and tends to tax you too much.. the content research takes time and so does Keyword research ..I am saying this after just completing a 30/30
It would be good to take things at your pace and work on your hubs until you get a hang of it.
Thanks both CMHypno and sofs for your concern. Actutally I uaually write on my blog everyday, but may be not so professional. I have a set of keyword that I'm working with now. I set the goal 30/30 as I need to motivate myself to creat more articles with more quality.
No worry, whenever I feel too tough, I will consider about this goal again and will not stick with it if I feel not comfortable.
My hubs may not get the great quality at first. However, the 30th should be better than the 1st one
Thanks a lot for your kindly advice. Have a nice day!
I'm sure your 30th Will be better than your 1st.. Mine was!
Once you complete 30 no matter whether you do it in this challenge or not take the time to go back and edit the ones you wrote to make them perfect
Welcome to the site, and best of luck with your goals here. I agree with CMHypno that it might be best to start slow. Blog writing is very different from the type of style preferred on this site. Also, as others have mentioned, until you address some of your grammar usage, you are likely to get flagged here. If you start with a goal smaller than 30/30,, you can take time to read some of the writers who have high-scoring hubs and perhaps review some of their grammar usage. Also, I highly recommend anything on grammar written by cclitgirl. She has a wealth of good hubs on that topic.
I agree with Relache. You won't learn English grammar through writing lots of hubs. You will get your hubs flagged and then taken down with that approach.
Your English is probably fine for general conversation and making yourself understood, but it's not good enough for writing.
Your chances of earning much money on here are extremely remote without perfecting your English skills.
Thank you so much everyone. I will keep learning and reading other great hubs. Now I found HubPages is the great learning place and it's good that I'm not working alone.
Wish you all the best, I will follow all of you

Have you ever participated in a 30-30 or 100-30 or 500-30 challenge on HUBPAGES?30-100 or 500 hubs in 30 days!!! Just found this website on while I was Googling. I used to write stories when I was in school, and later too. I love this scope and this platform. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

I log on every day, and it seems that I always find negative things popping up in the forums. I am sorry that so many people are struggling on HubPages. From SEO issues to having popular hubs unfeatured for a multitude of reasons, it seems very discouraging for any newcomers. When I first got here...

I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...
