Aww... Chinese Crested dogs are so cute!

This is my rescue birdie, Buzzy the cockatiel:

Wow, I can't believe there was snow in NY like last week. It's planting time now! Your dog looks like he was having a blast.

I know! I live in PA and the weather's been quite warm now. We haven't gotten snow in over a month.

Jenb- Your birdie is cute! When I was a kid I had a lovebird that  had a habit of constantly picking out her chest feathers. I think it was because she had been mistreated previous to us getting her.

Izzy- Aww they look so happy! I could imagine how difficult it must be being away from them for such a long time.

Leahlefler- So cute! He looks like he's having a blast playing in all that snow. smile

jenb0128posted 11 years agoin reply to this

Thank you! You're probably right about why your lovebird did that. Birds will start plucking themselves (or each other) if they're stressed, and once they start the habit, it's hard to get them to quit. I'm glad that she went to a better home with you!

This is my cat Stiggy. I picked him out as a baby. He was hit by a car last July and ran away for several months. We thought he was dead, but he returned with a dislocated hip that had healed out of socket. His entire side was shaved for surgery, and he would get really cold, so he would lay on his side on the cable box in my parents room because it was warm.

jennzieposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Stiggy is so cute! That's amazing that he managed to live on his own for that long with those injuries and that he returned to you. Glad he's safe and is ok now!

This is my little Jack Russell, Tess. We rescued her from a dogs home 13 years ago, and as you can see she's still going strong today, apart from being a little bit lazier lol. The funny thing is, that originally I was against having a dog, but as soon as I saw her it was love at first sight.
