What's the verdict on pinging - is it a vital part of the ranking game or just a feel good activity that eventually goes nowhere?
I use it sometimes and do get some views but I'm not sure if it is very effective for me or not.
I have seen some people swear by it and others who are successful and never do it. I am experimenting with pinging, which I think is good for brand new hubs or if you add content or change the title.
I can't say whether or not if pinging really matters because this month and last month was the best earnings I have had in over 8 months. I haven't wrote pinged commented or shared.
When I ping I get my articles up to a 100 page views after that they are on there own.

Okay, I know I rant about earnings regularly but seriously something is wrong here. Just over the last four days - Wed views were down to a little under 900, earnings $1.41. Thursday my views were down to a little over 800, earnings $1.40. Friday views bottomed out to a little over 500,...

I hear people talking all the time about hubs that produce good readership, but I know this number differs for many. In your case, how many views per month do you think is good for any given article? Just curious.

My HP traffic down since last three to four days and it's a matter of great concern for me. I have already written 50 hubs for the contest but still I am not seeing the traffic that I was seeing post google algorithm change. Is there anyone else who is facing the same problems. I have started...

Does anyone know the magic formula to increasing page views. Here is what I am looking at for averages over all of my accounts and hubs. Monthly Views: 17 Per HubAd Program Earnings Per Page view: .005 (half a penny)Adsense and Amazon Revenue: Negligible, not calculated. So, this means...
