   I received this message yesterday from Adwords and was told that until
   
   1) Add good amount of relevant and high quality content to your site. The content should be original and not taken from other sites. Ensure that the site provides a quality experience to the users visiting it.
   
   2) Remove the excessive ads from your site.
   
   I don't make enough from adwords to buy a cup of coffe most months. To be quite honest I'm switching most of my site to chitika so if I have to I can just drop adwords all together.
   
   Any thoughts?

      Arbitrage happens when you use Google AdWords to place ads that drive people to subdomains/pages/sites in the hopes that they will click the Google AdSense ads on them.
      
      From Google: Google AdWords doesn't allow the promotion of websites that are designed for the sole or primary purpose of showing ads. This practice of promoting sites where the main purpose is to get users to click on ads is called arbitrage.

      You don't make money off Adwords.  Adwords is what you use to advertise your product or site.  You make money off Adsense.  It is important to know the difference - and as lrohner says, you can't use Adwords campaigns to drive traffic to Adsense-heavy sites. 
      
      Have they disabled your account or just disallowed your sub-domain?  If you lose your Adsense account, you'll lose all ability to make money on HubPages.

   It's my understanding that if Google becomes excessively perturbed about your adwords account, they will not only close your adwords account, but also your adsense account right along with it. If it was me, and I'm not kidding, I would immediately close and delete all your campaigns. Especially since you are not making anything from them anyway. The risk-reward ratio just isn't worth it.

   Yep. I canceled all of my adwords campaigns including those on my personal sites. I really hope that Hubpages switches to chitika. Their ads have been far more relevant to my hubs anyway.

   Ya I know I mixed the two. I use adwords advertising to push customers to some of my product sites, but it really doesn't pay. Microsoft offers a much better program in my opinion.
   
   Yes they disallowed my subdomain claiming that hit was nothing, but an advertising site without content. Even after I canceled all of my advertising with them the still informed me that I had to remove my ads to clear the "violations". I called them and asked if they'd actually view the sight. The rep pulled it up and said "yes it's covered in ads and there is no content". She was on my profile page with one ad in the bottom right hand corner. After I asked her what constituted the "ads" on the url and she couldn't answer I asked for a supervisors review. Two days later the violation was cleared and I started receiving emails asking why I wasn't advertising.
   
   I put chitika and infolinks on all of my sites now and I don't use adwords.
