When we cease to be a part of it. It doesn't end for those of the living, only the once lived. What comes after? Who can tell but the dead?

The world wouldn't exist just because we cease to be part of it. roll

The earth got along just fine before humans and will continue to do so after humans.

In total agreement. I too do not believe in a rapture nor do I believe in perpetual motion.

We become food for the worms and maggots. Our bones turn to dust so we possibly could become a mountain, a river bank, mud, or dust in someone's eye. Minerals for the soil that feed the trees etc. We could then become part of the fruit of that tree and be food for our living relatives.  Mind boggling what could come next.

        You're a Buddhist then? Or a naturalist?

        Can't tell.

            Good reply.

At least you're free of the stygma. Can't say the same for myself, I chose to call myself an atheist, a title that is subject to change.
