    Here's the story:

Now is this racism? Or just people with morals?

No, this is not racism. This is an attempt on the part of one group to affect the outcome of an election by appealing to a particular sect of the electorate. It is the very same action that Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority took in the 80's. Just like Falwell, CAPP is encouraging a principle known as "the tyranny of the majority."

Besides that, I just don't understand how any group - religious or otherwise - can change the reality of homosexuality by somehow denying its right to exist. There is little logic in this. Gay people are gay, and there is not one complaint nor action taken against this group that will change the fact that people are gay.

I think the appropriate term here is homophobia.

It's not racism. It's not even people with morals.

It's people attempting to manipulate the election of political officers via their misguided and uneducated beliefs.

But see if I had said this it would have been considered homophobic AND racist.

It's because your a white male. For example if there was a white christian organization, it would be ipso facto racist.

So simply because I disagree and I am white I am a racist?
The problem is I am not and I am offended that is all it takes to be called racist.

Yes according to my liberal professors, whites are a uniquely evil race, who have pretty much caused all the worlds problems.
So if they disagree with the first half black president, it must be due to their intrinsic racism.
          (sarcasm)

I don't understand it, but it's true. If you're white, some people will always call you a racist if you say something about a person of another race. I guess it's their own mentality, they can't actually understand that people can look beyond skin color.

It's like what Samuel L Jackson said, he voted for Obama because he's black, and that most people only vote for someone that looks like them. It's scary to see people with that mindset in this day and age.

Well the word racism is used in a manner that will hopefully get the disagreeable person to shut up. That's the full intent.

I find that people that use "racism" as a point in a debate will usually reveal themselves to be...racist!

Well it's such a heavy handed thing to do and it works on politicians who fear being labeled as such.....just ask Hilary.

It's not really a racist/homophobic/morals issue. It's people standing up for what they believe. That's really what elections are all about, voting for the person who best represents what you think is best for the country.

You're right though JSChams, the racist card is played all too often. I can't count how many times I've been called a racist simply for not supporting Obama.

That is the point of my forum. Why are these people not considered racist?
It matters not in any other context and that is the main bludgeon of the left now....racism.

The smallest minority in the world, the individual.  If we could treat each other as individuals instead of imaginary labels, possibly we could grow to ignore minor differences.  We are all human beings, each deserving a complete equality as such.

Nah, you're not me, so whatever is different about us, I must hate you because of that difference. tongue

Seriously though, I agree. I would like to think that the majority of Americans have moved past this issue, but I just don't know.

Oh they have. But there are those who do not want you to know and believe that therefore.....RACIST!

That is fine, but hate me as an individual, do not hate others like me due to my personal faults.  smile

ps: I know you are kidding.

I believe that that most human beings have much more in common than not.  Division is a tool of the elites to keep us bickering at each other.  Unification of the population is what those in control FEAR the most!

Unfortunately, much of Racism is built through Parenting. Parents who think they are entitled for past generations of oppression. They don't have the mind set that they are equal, but egotistically think they are better somehow.

I find that to be very disturbing.

But, as I have said before and gladly repeat....our actions define our character and explain to others what knowledge and wisdom we do not have, should the actions be a detriment to other people or self.
