Your second unrestricted topic thread, keeping TOS in mind of course....

Cashier at Staters supermarket double-charged me for a Hot Pockets. Serves me right for buying it in the first place. big_smile

HP 11-12 earnings have updated. Not final and not ebay, but good enough for me. I'm becoming quite happy with them lately; that's sincerity, not sarcasm.

Thanks for the info; I just checked mine. The numbers are "meh." I guess OK for the weekend.

Google has started serving me up 1,2,3 cent clicks; so I went back to hpads. So far, I made a darn good decision.

    My traffic has picked up.

Jeez these forums are dead from yesteryear.

Any subject. Sorry, should have included with above.

    PDS,

Why have you never written html for beginners type hub. For people like me who do not know html but should do, and want to?

Actually, I did. A long time ago. But I was in slacker mode when I did it. I need to clean the thing up and re-title it.

I could use an article like that. I am seeing all this stuff about adding Google+ to our profiles, and having to do it with html, etc. and it just makes me want to give up. I have no idea what any of that means. It took me two hours and tons of help from nice people on the forums to set up a link on my profile for people who want to join hubpages. LOL

You really should. I need to know this stuff, but whenever I attempt to look it up on the internet, I'm presented with lots of jargon and pre-requisite knowledge (which clearly I do not have)

It's like those who have this particular knowledge just assume that everyone else has some kind of grounding in the subject. Write the hub, you know your stuff, and imagine that the recipitant is not stupid, they just don't have the basic grasp, but hell, we're all capable of learning when we start at the beginning. smile

These forums have become so slow that I may have to find another hobby. (A great sigh of relief ripples across Hubber Land...)

Don't. I've only just made a return in the last few weeks. Where have all the hubbers gone?

Well, I could make a whimsical remark that they've all been forum banned... big_smile

But, in actuality, August probably really is the slowest internet month of the year.

Good stuff. My traffic has ticked up to very pleasing levels recently, which has given me much more incentive to write here. My last two articles are much longer and in depth then previous ones. And, I've tried my had at a sales hub. We will see if I have the potential to become marketeer. lol

Why am I so useless? I have just finished painting my kitchen in *duck egg* blue paint. Yes, you heard me correctly I said *duck egg* blue. Do you have any idea how utterly awful *duck egg* blue looks next to pale lemon tiles? Why did I not realise this would be the case? mad

OMG.... Duck Egg Blue??  Talk about Quaking Up!  smile

Isn't it sad that these forums have achieved the desired level of communication one could reasonably expect from an introverted approach to that outwardly important issue once described as enjoying the company and humor of like minded people!  roll

Ho-Hummmm.... I'm so glad that Unicorns and other past missing hubbers were extroverts and offered an enjoyable experience during their time here...  lately the HP forums are akin to the silence that one experiences after an earthquake!  Why such an active and fun community activity would be systematically destroyed and broken down intentionally I'm sure has been asked by many of us who appreciated the value of what was a great community that didn't previously divide and redirect its members!  sad
