   I'm new to this site, the main reason im here is to post my poetry, so my question is am i suppose to put only one poem per hub page or do i put all poems on one hub page, and different subjects on another hub page?? i'm so confused.... -_-

      Welcome to Hubpages azadg7! If you just want to post your poetry, you can post one poem on your Hub. If you plan on monetizing your Hubpages you should porbably add several and maybe some text. Maybe look at other Hubbers Hubpages to see how they formatted their poems. I have some on Hubs on poetry. Google likes the Hubpage to be at least 500 words, so I added several poems per Hub and text. I don't know if this is the best but this is what I've done. Hope this helps. Maybe other poets will repsond with their advice.

      There are a number of people on HP who publish poems. I don't know if any make money or not. I tend to publish one poem per hub, others publish one with a preface. Check out Nellieanna, who publishes several per hub wtith great illustrations.

   Your hub must contain at least 500 words. So manage it that way. Let it be five poems per hub each in different text capsule and images if any.

      It is not a bad idea to have 500 words, but it is certainly not a requirement. Many of my featured hubs are shorter than 500 words.

   Hi azadag,
   You shouldn't write your all poems in one hub because there is no benefit for you the more your poem is lengthy the more people' don't want to read.Keep your poem short and write your every poem on every new hub.

   You can't write poetry according to how many words you can fit on a page. Poetry is a heart/emotion/imagination kinda thing, but maybe that's just my opinion.

   one hubpage per poem, honey! thats the way to go! every poem should have a title. no matter how short they may be, the title leads your readers to them. just reading the title tells me whether i want to read that particular poem or not. i hope you understand!

   I write poetry and haiku. I only post one per page for several reasons to include traffic, social media etc...  Even with shorter poetry or even haiku which does not contain the 500 word limit, you can still be featured.  Not to mention it builds your portfolio here.  Hope this helps.

   Whatever, you want. According to most people's experience, poetry hubs get idled pretty quickly. If you are not concerned whether your hubs appear in the search engines then that doesn't matter though.

   If I were you I would compile some poems into ONE hub. Maybe if they fall into the same category. You could create a small series of poems into one hub. Just an idea

    Write your poems, collect them, organize them, then make a Hub to compile several poems of the same subject.

       I feel this is the best strategy--I've done this with some romantic poetry I've written. Whatever way you decide, you can always go back and edit your work.  To me that's part of the beauty of Hubpages. )

    Hello, Azadg7, and welcome!
    
    Publishing my poems was my own first thought on coming here, and I did publish several.
    
    At that time, I did not know or care that money could be made via the AdSense program, and it was before the HP ad program, so none of my poems were (or are) monetized.
    
    That said, I soon learned that as this is not a poetry-specific site, poems get very little traffic, and traffic is what you want.
    
    I publish only one poem per Hub for most.  There are one or two that are extremely short 2 to 4 line poems, and those, I have grouped together because they are on related topics.  In doing that, though, you want each poem in its own text capsule within the Hub.
    
    Pictures help, as does some text with the "backstory;" that being an explanation of the impetus/inspiration for the poem.

    Per my own experience, single-poem hubs are doomed as far as traffic goes. Mine have collected so much dust that plants are growing on them now. I'd have deleted them, but they are my 2 favorite pets.

          I tried to find that hub by Cardisa. Something is wrong. Her profile page is blank and top of page had html in it.
          Weird happenings on this site. Anyway, Cardisa also has an account under Carolee with poetry. You might try it, and I will continue my search. I will put it in the feed and send URL to you., paradigm.

       Page layouts???  I used to be able to play with the line spacing, for effect, and HP no longer supports that.  No matter WHAT I try to do, everything gets slammed over to the left margin the minute you hit 'save' on the capsule.  :-( 
       
       Being able to play with the line spacing and alignment on the page is the only kind of "page layout" I'd be interested in.....

    Welcome to hubpages azadg7! I would say that you can group several poems into one hub on put them into there own seperate hub if they reach the word limit that you need in order to publish your poems. I absolutely love poems and can't wait to get the chance to read some of yours.
