Adsense and Approval

   I'd like to consider myself an asset to the hubpages community.  Although I began relatively recently, I have over a dozen published hubs, and I even won the rising star award for one of them.  I have applied to Google Adsense multiple times, and I have always been rejected.  I would love to continue writing on hubpages because I enjoy the community, but you HAVE to be approved for Adsense before you can make any money.  Even the Hubpages earning tool requires an Adsense account.  If I cannot get approved through Adsense and monetize my hubs, there is little point in me staying, when I could simply continue writing on a regular blog.  Can someone please point me in the right direction or let me know what I'm doing wrong?  The Adsense rejection letter (I've pasted it below) doesn't give any insight whatsoever into what I could be doing to improve or what will allow me approval.

   application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our program
   criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program.
   
   We have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the

      Hey, I've got the same letter!  I also won a Rising Star award for my first Hub. Now, as far as I know, without Adsense approval, I cannot:
      -Join the Apprentice program on HP
      -Be part of HP's Earning program.
      -Use affiliates such as Amazon on HubP.
      -Apply for Adsense on other webpages with some hopes of success, because these applications have to stem from the ID I acquired on Hubpages.
      
      I am aware that my visitor rate is not too high, but other Hubbers have published these same daily visitor rates and they have Adsense.
      I'm beginning to think there is some relation to the country I am writing from (Chile), it's NOT on the list of banned countries, but who knows what the robots see?
      
      The funny thing is that I DO have Google ads on my Hubs, so my Hubs must be doing something right! About half the ads are in Spanish, and the rest in English. At least, that's what I see.
      
      I feel like a mouse running round a circular maze, with no visible outlets!
      
      Does anybody have some positive take on this, or some suggestions? Or ideally, some solutions!

      If it is so easy like that you want and there are almost available adsense approval without any terms, then everyone will be million-er  .

   In some countries, you need at least 06 months old hubpages account. Just check in google Adsense policies if you fall in this category.
   This condition applies both for HubPages and your own website

   Then It is better to ask question in Google Adsense Help Forum. There any Top Contributor may help you regarding your issue and give you true advise. Even they can flag your issue to Adsense employees if your issue is geniun. It is on google only if they approve your application or not. But you can take a chance at Google Adsense Help Forum.

   You can make a blog on blogger. It wil go much faster. After 2 days and 3 posts I had an approved adsense acount.

   I see that you write on a variety topics. I did not look at every hub so I may be off base. I am thinking it may be a problem of the hubs not inter linking with each other. Since Google supposedly looks at us as individual subdomains, I am thinking they expect us to be more like a website than a bunch of individual webpages. I realize that the profile page links them but they may be looking for more flow between pages. I know they try to crawl the site first and the crawler may not like it if every page it goes to, it has to "back arrow" to view another page on your subdomain and is reporting negatively. Am I right? Only Google does. Inter linking your pages with other closely related pages will make your subdomain seem more like a website and will also help with increase your overall views as well. It's important that it "flows" to another revelant topic.  If your topics are too different, you could write sub hubs that bridge the gap that cover a topic that has to do with both topics. Again, not saying Im right, I am newer at this. This is what I did and was approved after 9 hubs. In the mean time, you should be able to sign up for Amazon without Adsense.

   I just took a look at your Hubs and it seems as though "Ads by Google" is displaying on your pages. I'd advise to wait a bit longer before reapplying. Give it a few months and in the mean time keep publishing more articles. I don't think there is anything wrong at all with what you are writing. It's most likely all to do with tenure. Just give it some more time.

   I did have a blog on blogger already that had been inactive for a couple of years.  I posted daily to it for almost a week and then tried to apply to adsense with that account and received the same reply letter.
   
   The frustrating part is that although I can use amazon and ebay affiliates, the real revenue from what I've found is from Adsense.  I maintain several other blogs and am a moderator at a free-thought site.  I started writing on hubpages as a way to make a little extra income on top of all my other projects (that I'm not compensated for).  It takes up a large chunk of my time, but if it pays off, it will be worth it.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that's the case at all so I feel as though I've all-but wasted my efforts that I could have put into other projects or sites.

   I am sorry to hear this JM a lot of changes have occurred within the last six months and none is good. I've started removing my own Hubs but shows getting traffic in my GA I also started up another site to move them but dang web designing is taking forever it just has to look right. If you got to get another site, preferably your own you can use other advertisers to monetize your site.

    I share your feeling Dame Scribe, indeed, the last six months at HP, particularly the last two, have been depressing with many Hubbers reporting lost income and the end of organic traffic as one Hubber so aptly put it in one of the forums. I  still wonder what has caused this chain of events to happen, does it have something to do with changes in the board or is it the mighty Google?  I'm glad I didn't give up on Helium, I'm earning more money there than here from my writings.  Not putting all the eggs in one basket really works.

    I'd say it's 'dancing' to 'G's songs we are all indebted in one form or another a new site will prove interesting but it's not like it's a favorite choice I do have otherrrr things on my plate but hopefully, things will get better break away from some of this co-dependency

    I've been here two weeks and have 14 hubs. I've been denied three times and I have received the same letter as you. I am going to wait until I have published 20 hubs before I apply again. I really want to join the apprentice program and some extra money would be nice too. Aggravating.

    I have only posted two hubs, and I have ads on my second one, but I keep on getting a rejection letter from google adsense.  My first hub had sensitive content, I guess, but not my second one.  LIke I said, I got an email from adsense stating that they had rejected my application, and my hub account under the earnings shows that adsense is disabled or inactive, but I have ads showing on my second hub.  What is going on here?  Can anyone shed some light on this?

       Two hubs is never going to be enough.  Adsense wants to see a bunch of content.  10 good hubs used to be enough, but these days you need more like 20.

    Hubpages puts ads on every suitable hub unless the author switches off ads. However, they can only be switched off if the hub is on a totally non-commercial topic.
    
    If the author does not have an Adsense account, the HP Adsense code shows 100% of the time.

    I've probably got this completely wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere that an Adsense account will only be approved now if you apply from your own domain, a Blogger blog for example.

       I'm not sure what you mean by "own domain".  I'm kind of a computer idiot, so bear with me.  I clicked on the appropriate link and followed the instructions.  That's all I did.  If I apply on my account page, isn't that considered my own domain?

          Well it's a sub domain. I may have this wrong, but I'm sure that I've read that Adsense will no longer be approved to new applicants if they apply through a site which is not theirs.

             So, we can't apply to adsense on the domain of our own hub account?  What do people mean when they speak of pasting a code on the affiliate accounts of google.  Nowhere on my google account do I see a heading for affiliate accounts or anything like that.  Can you please help me so that I can get paid?

    It's on your hubs, but it's not visible unless you go and look at the html.

    i see you have 12 hubs, mine was a magic 10 before i recieved approval. Depending on when you published your last 3 hubs i would expect approval soon.

    If you apply to Adsense through a revenue-sharing site, such as HP or WebAnswers, your account will only be valid for use on revenue-sharing sites.
    
    If you wish to use Adsense on your own web sites, you will then have to submit those web sites for approval. If they are approved, the permissions on your Adsense account will be extended to permit you to use it on your own sites.
    
    You have already been told several times, you do not stand a chance of getting an Adsense account until you have significantly more than 2 hubs. Nobody knows the exact figure. I think it also depends on the quality and length of the hubs. You might be lucky with 12, you might have to produce 20 before you succeed, perhaps even more.
    
    The Adsense criteria are shifting all the time. I predict the next step will be to extend the requirement to have a web presence for at least 6 months to all countries, not just the few to which this applies at the moment.
    
    Really, it is best you just concentrate on writing hubs and forget about money until you have built up a decent collection. Likewise, forget about the exact details of the application process until you are ready, because the rules may change there as well.

       But she has 40 hubs on various, interesting subjects.
       
       The only thing I could think of would be to add a few product reviews. They might also run some kind of a script that checks which kind of ads could be displayed. The product reviews with some popular keywords could add the extra missing part.

          I was replying to Danast, who currently still has only 3 hubs and therefore no chance of getting an Adsense account.
          
          As it is, my reply was written 3 weeks ago. If you really must resurrect old threads, it would be useful to check the situation before replying.
          
          As for product reviews, it is my feeling Google will be clamping down even more severely on these in the future.

    My first hub account was accepted in the Adsense program with just 7 hubs but that was a year ago. I simply used my old Adsense account to activate this one. As I see it, Google seems to favor hub accounts that focus on subjects that can be easily be linked with ads like product reviews and 'how to' guides.  I suggest those who still can't get their adsense enrollment approved to use their own domain. There are sites that offer cheap web-hosting services nowadays such as WordPress. You'll be investing more or less $20 for a year of subscription but it's totally worthwhile if you are serious about making money through adsense and here in Hubpages.

    From my point of view having a hub and even lots of quality of those isn't a guarantee that you will be approved with your Adsense application. The best option would be to open a blogger account, get some content and then apply for adsense. And while your doing all of those, you can continue writing and publishing hubs.

    I actually sent in a request to google almost every time for each hub until I got to number 10 recently. I finally got approved but it did take some time! Be patient a little while longer, I know its frustrating at first, but I was told that I had great content and that if I was patient, I would get it soon.....and I did! I hope it works for you soon as well!

       Thank you!  I will be patient a little while longer!  My ads show up on my article, though, and the articles are long.  But, who knows?  That doesn't mean that I'm getting paid for it just because they're showing up.

       I have another question.  My first hub was "Judgment and Lawlessness Within Our Secular World".  They will not post ads on this, due to sensitive content.  However, my friend has one written on Islam, and it REALLY had sensitive content on it, but they accepted it for ads.  That seems really unfair!  My second article is "The Amazing World of Animals".  This has the ads on it, so this one was not too sensitive.  The reasons in my rejection email are:  'not enough content' and 'sensitive content'.  If I continue to write more hubs and then reapply, will they still accept me with that one hub ('Judgment and Lawlessness...') hanging out there?  All they have to do is just refuse to put the ads on that particular one; they don't have to reject my whole application.  And, one other thing - I keep on hearing people talk about  some code that you're supposed to put onto your article.  What is this code, and where do I find it?  This is really stressing me out!  Surely they will accept me after I have 10 articles published.  What do you think?

    Lately I have heard this same story over and again in so many words from various writers on here. I am feeling dismal and concerned. I was rejected, but this was early on. If I have no hope of earning money on here, then, I will just photo copy my material and shut it down, and move out. I am waisting entirely way too much time. I can make more money picking up aluminam cans, or selling newspapers, assuming that I cannot find a real job, and I have not been able to for many years. I kind of liked the thought about writing. I have a secret part time gig, it pays for storage, barely, if I am lucky. So much for retiring to write and philosophize.

       I'm so sorry you're going through this, too.  I haven't been on here for very long  so I'm totally new to all of this.  Have you tried reapplying?  I would definitely try that, especially if you have several articles you've written.  I know that adsense checks how much traffic a person has, too.  I've only been on here for about three days, but I have two articles.  One is a religious article, and the other one is an article on animals.  Both are very lengthy, with a lot of content.  Don't give up!

    Please let me know, all of you on here, when and if you get on with AdSense. I have frozen nearly all activity on here. I am no longer writing here. All of my articles are getting unpublished over time. Only half of my articles are still featured. It is pointless. All of you please let me know if and when you ever get on with AD Sense. How are we going to get on with AD Sense when they are unpublishing our articles as fast as we can  publish them?

    I'm quite new to this as well, but I think that I annoyed them until they approved me just to shut me up. Maybe that is not the best advice, but I wasn't finding specific answers that I was looking for in the forums and they make it impossible to contact Google Adsense to get a better explanation for denial. I applied almost every other day, each time that I received a denial; I applied again. After a while the denials came in faster and I began thinking that I was making things worse for myself. But I am stubborn and since I couldn't get a good answer or advice, I kept applying. They accepted me in my 3rd or 4th week with HubPages and I probably had 10-15 Hubs. So I don't know if there is a "rule of thumb" How many Hubs to have, how long to wait or connecting your content. Good luck

    There's a way for you to make money from HubPages. Sign up for the Amazon AdSense program. They accept everybody. That's what I did.

    There is NO SUCH THING as an Amazon Adsense programme!!!
    
    To earn money through Amazon sales on hubs, you need to apply to Amazon and become an affiliate. Once you have an affiliate number, you enter this into your account information here so that you can start sharing revenue on Amazon capsules.
    
    To earn from Hub Ads as a whole, you first need to get an Adsense account from Google. You will need to have a good number of good quality hubs (some people say ten, some think twenty or more might be needed now) in order for Google to consider your application. If you live in India and some other mainly Asian countries, your Hubpages account also needs to be at least six months old. Follow the application process described in the Hubpages Learning Centre.

    If you want to earn money through adsence revenue sharing plan then you must have to follow the adsence policy. first of all if you belong to INDIA or CHINA then you must have to wait atleast 6 months before applying for adsence account because google set the policy of atleast 6 months old account in INDIA and CHINA dur to fake click. after that you have to get more and more traffic to you hubpage account because google accepts only active members accounts and good account because they dont want bored account so follow these steps after that apply for adsence then i gurantee your account must be approved
