Right now, due to my econ classes and plethora of part time jobs:

    "C's get degrees"
    - My dad (surprisingly)

Also, when things get too overwhelming:

    "This too shall pass"

It just helps me to remember that sucky stuff won't always be around (in most cases in my life) and I can suck it up and deal with it, because it's not forever.

"It is a far, far better thing that I do than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known" - Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

Although I'm not normally a big fan of Dickens novels, this one was superb and has remained one of my all time favourite novels for many years. The quote is the concluding paragraph and relates to the ultimate sacrifice made in the name of love and friendship.

Only the weak are cruel - gentleness can only be expected from the strong.

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

If you want to know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

The most reliable way to predict the future is to create it.

I have so many quotes that I love, but one that I always remember when I am feeling unmotivated is "Move, lest ye rust".  I don't know who said it, I just know one time many many years ago I saw this srawled on a blackboard at the local college.  I was cleaning carpets there while I was at a dead end job.  Now I am a student at that college.  I was rusty, but now I am moving...
