I attempted to publish an informative Hub yesterday on Credit reports and credit scores. I have been told that the Hub was about 'payday loans" and the moderator says my hub has "deceptive title or capsule use". A look at my Hub shows it is neither. I went out of my way not to link to this HUB. I don't understand why it can't be published. Can someone help me understand so I can make the appropriate changes so I can get this featured?

I had the same problem. Go to "edit" mode, like you're going to edit the Hub. Read the full message about the "Payday Loans", In that message theirs a word (highlighted light blue) you can click on that will take you to a page where you can send a message about that particular Hub. In the message box, you will need to list the reasons that this is not about payday loans.

It will take a day or two to get a response, so be patient. Also You might try tweaking the title so that there can be no question as to the topic.

Hey billd01603- you have encountered one of our restricted content areas.

More on restricted content areas can be found here: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Mode … ous-Offers

Because the subject of the Hub is on an area that has traditionally been flooded with spam, we hold the Hub to much higher standards.

Re: deceptive title or capsule use- this Learning Center guide might help: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Mode … r-Category

And of course, responding to any email you might have received asking for more information (as joanwz alludes to- thanks joanwz!) is always an option! big_smile
