Has anyone noticed that your pin button is not working for your own hubs? I can pin hubs that are not mine but I can't pin my hubs.

Me, too, Nell.  I go from IE8 to Firefox back and forth....I can't copy and paste from Firefox so if I'm writing a Hub, I use Explorer to copy/paste text from Word.  If I want to Pin, I have to go to IE.   I was told at one point that Firefox works better with HP, so I use that for most stuff on HP.

I just went and successfully pinned one of my hubs. I'm using the latest Chrome browser. Hope that helps. Personally, I'm of the general opinion that Chrome is the best of the lot anyway. smile

Me neither, DO you guys have to try signing in two times before it goes, it happens on Chrome which I am afraid to use now and on IE7 which is my only hope of a decent browser...afraid of Firefox with the flash and adobe things not updating....thanks

Given current issues with browsers and the way programs are operating, I stay out if IE7 most if not all of the time.  I have had better luck with Firefox as long as I clear cache   and yes the updating is a pain, but I so far have found Firefox to function best in all.
Our preferences I think may change and if one is working for you, stay with it...that is my philosophy.

No problems using Chrome as I used it two days ago. Don't usually have problems with Firefox either.

    1. Are you using both buttons? (There is one on pictures, and one in sidebar?)
    2. Have you tried just using the pin button? (You can add it to your bookmarks here to use from any page you visit.)

I have tried both buttons the one on  my hubpage and the one in bookmarks. I like the bookmark pin it because you can pick out the photo you want. When I pin either way on my own hub it doesn't work in IE or Chrome. It also freezes everything up I can't use the drop down menu on explore, notifications, moonlake, nothing up above to move off my hub, all I can do is back out.

I just tried it, the bookmark pin-it froze up everything  but when I back out and came back to the hub and tried to pin again this time with the hub pin that worked that worked this morning last night not even that was working.
Maybe I need to remove the bookmark pin-it and reinstall, see if that helps. What I can't figure out, why would it stop working on chrome and IE.

maybe pinning your own hubs is like an invalid vote.  Perhaps Google is trying to eliminate people pinning and liking their own hubs.  That is my guess.  Could link to people who are not really interested or who are not genuinely interested in your hub.

If you pin using the URL option on pinterest, it works ok. I just figured it was a wee glitch with the button!

I am using Firefox and Windows 7 - I have no problem pinning my own hubs but only if I mouse over the image I want to pin and click on the red Pinterest icon that appears bottom right hand corner. Pinning using the icon on the top rhs of the page does not work for me on my own hubs. Hope this helps. ps- I like this option as it gives me the opportunity to pin the same hub to two different, relevant boards but use a different image each time - making it more likely that both will be shared.

My bookmark Pin It is working on other websites but won't work on here. Very strange.
