Is the federation violating the US Constitution?

   Marijuana is a part of Christianity, Judaism and all others who follow the teachings of Moses.
   Is it unconstitutional to ban Christians, Jews, Muslims and other forms of Abrahamic religion from partaking in the usage of Kaneh-bosem (marijuana).
   "Moreover, the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ‘take also for yourself the finest of spices: of flowing myrrh five hundred shekels (12.5 US standard pounds), and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, two hundred and fifty shekels 6.25 lbs.), and of fragrant cane (Kaneh-bosem: marijuana) two hundred and fifty shekels (6.25 lbs.), and of cassia five hundred (12.5 lbs.), according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin (6 quarts).” (Exodus 30: 22-25, 1995, New American Standard Bible)

   The Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution was ratified on December 15, 1791
   
   If you are a follower of the laws of Moses, marijuana is a part of your culture and religious practices as it has been used for thousands of years in divination ceremonies to affirm to your Covenant with the Lord of Hosts, or YHVH.

      I'll start off by saying that marijuana should be legal, having said that the supreme court has ruled on tat argument precisely before on the issue of polygamy. It determined that religious custom does not supersede the law of the land.

      Considering that many NA tribes have made the Feds give them an exception for Peyote on those exact grounds (Freedom to practice their religion) I can see a Christian Church doing it.  It will take the right lawyer and a carefully worded argument, but it could certainly happen.
      
      Having said that, I think the point will be moot soon anyway as we wait for the next state to legalize MJ for EVERYONE in defiance of Federal law.

      Hold on a minute.   Let's rewind and start at the beginning.
      What makes you think "fragrant cane" is marijuana?
      And what "use" are you saying that Yahweh's followers put it to?

   As the supreme court interprets the constitution and has not found cannabis laws in violation, we have to say no, they are not unconstitutional.
   
   The founders of our constitution were not stupid people and they surely recognized that no religion can do whatever they want because their religion says it's OK or even necessary.  Human sacrifice, for example, is frowned on and no possible interpretation of the constitution will say it's OK. 
   
   God's laws can and do play second fiddle to the constitution in many cases.

   Religions also list offenses you can stone people to death for.  Fortunately we are under secular law.

   I don't care whether it violates the constitution or not, prohibition is immoral. Simple as that.
