Racism and sexism are oftentimes based upon fear of the other. Many people discriminate and are prejudiced against those of other races because of the latter's genetic dominance. They believe that they must maintain their supposed racial hegemony and power by oppressing races that are not theirs. They further contend that if other races obtain full equality, there would be a total diminishing of their respective racial hegemony in their respective societies.
The same with sexism, many men are afraid of the power that women have. That is why throughout history, women have suffered immense oppression at the hands of men. They were denied education and equal rights. In most societies, they were totally powerless and subjected to the authority ot their fathers, sons, husbands, and other male relatives. In many religions, they were(and are still) considered to be "the lesser vessel" so to speak. Women's sexuality has especially been under male scrutiny. Her sexual and reproductive freedom was prescribed and severely curtailed. There are some religious and conservative elements who strongly assert that women's sexual and reproductive role are strictly preordained and are against any type of sexual and reproductive freedom for women. Yes, there are people both men and women who are fearful of the power that women have. There are some men who strongly want to retaiin their gender hegemony and refuse to share their power with women. So their answer to repress and oppress women further....
I actually think there's, I'm thinking about carefully chosen words here (no doubt I'll fail) two types of discrimination. The (possibly) primary type, occurs, not because of genetic dominance, but because those in the upper echelons of society want to remain there. ie. men, white men.
Secondary discrimination, I believe, occurs when those (men, white men) can completely dominate the news that is consumed by all of us, and take advantage of the less educated who consume that news (it's cheap) think tabloid. They pitch to the lowest denominator and instill fear. They convince those who are not equipped to search for balance, that they are under "attack" by those who are different from them.
Not real sure why you have a picture of Rush up while talking about sexism. I assume like many you believe him to be a bigot or racist or whatever the left has decided on that week. I have listened to him for over 20 years and other than the jabs he throws out at really despicable women I have never heard anything sexist from him.
There are many times he says things in jest or to poke at liberal women but that is all that it is. I am certain you will disagree but I'm also certain that you haven't spent a lot of time listening to him either. He says it himself, listen for six weeks and you will understand.

There are so many countries where this discrimination does not exist, but there are some societies where it still exist, I need you suggestions how it can be removed from those societies.

There are women who do not believe that women should have equal rights as men do. They are strong proponents that the main roles and goals of women are to be housewives and mothers. They further believe that women should be subordinate to men. There are women out there who clearly do not...

liberalization and the broadening of women's reprodutive freedoms, especially in terms of a woman's right to choose and the issue of contraception? What makes some conservative men view a woman's greater reproductive freedom and/or choice is an affront to "morality" and "family...

Why Are Women Still Paid Less Than Men. What Has Happened To Equal Rights For Women? We have had the equal pay act since the 1970's and yet women still earn a third less than their male counterparts. Why is this discrimination still happening? And more importantly why is nobody talking about it?
