A hub for money

   I want to write a hub its aim is making me money through amazon affiliate program, i am going to talk about two or three types of laptops. I want you to share with me your opinion about this kind of hubs, and does it really make a good earnings or what ?

      My opinion is that if you write informative hubs that help people, you will gain their trust. Personally, I have never had anyone purchase a single Amazon item from any of my hubs. You'll still generate money from page ads, but don't get your hopes up for making money selling laptops online. I'm not saying don't write hubs about laptops. Certainly, write the hubs because you will still earn a little money. I'm just saying there is no guarantee that you'll sell the laptops that you are writing about.

      Eric has given you the best advice here, but I just wanted to add that laptop comparisons is a very competitive market and that you'll very likely have trouble ranking well in the search engines for phrases related to that niche.
      
      So you might want to think a bit more outside the box when choosing products to write about. Very niche (rather than extremely popular) products can do very well and will have a lot less competition.

   If you want to write Hubs with the objective of selling things you might do okay, but you need to do more than just talk about the product.  Presumably you're very knowledgeable about the subject, either because you have experience or because you've put in the time doing research.  So draw on that and tell your reader why the product is worth their time, what's good about it and why, and how it compares with similar products.  Be honest and tell them about any flaws as well. 
   
   I like to think of sales Hubs as "information with the opportunity to purchase".  You're providing a service, and using your knowledge to help your reader make a decision.  After all, if you tell them about the 5 greatest laptops on earth and don't give them a chance to go get one that would be a shame. 
   
   Make helping people, sharing your knowledge and providing opportunity your goal, not just selling.  For the love of God, whatever you do, don't just regurgitate a review from another website and post a bunch of specs you found on Amazon.

   If you are writing a hub solely to make money with Amazon you have to be careful in how you word your hub content as your hub may be deemed overly promotional and you will not be able to publish it OR it may get published and then flagged for being overly promotional. You can't have overly promotional hubs on HubPages. When you write your hub make sure it is informative and thorough. Make sure you are introducing people to these products and not just promoting the products and telling people to buy them...

   The higher the price of the Amazon product the more you will earn but don't expect to have lots of Amazon sales though...

   Thank you, you really helped me with your amazing tips.
   I just want to explain my words again to make it obvious, what i will do is doing a wide research about three laptops then i will express it in useful words hopping to give the readers a chance to make a  decision.

   ithnk it's a gud idea.. But it shuld be done in a responsible manner.. Reviewing 2 or 3 products in ur hud, i dn't thnk that wuld do harm..   :-)

   It's hard for some people to make money from Amazon affiliate program, so it would be best if you would combine Google Adsense, Ebay and amazon. this would increase your potential and your sales, don't just be specific on Laptops, sell other products as well depending on the post of your hub

    Instead of making a hub for money, I suggest making a hub for visitors.
    
    Other people are not on the web to make you money. They're on the web to solve a problem, find an answer, or help them make up their minds.
    
    So: What expertise, experience or passion do you have that you can share, which other people will find useful?
    
    For example: is there anything you collect? Is there anything you repair? What do your friends ask you advice about? What could you tell your spouse/friends/kids about, that would be genuinely helpful for them to know before they buy a car, remodel the kitchen, go on a trip, etc?
    
    Make a list of things you love, things you know well, and experiences that happen to you often (even if it's something as mundane as keeping raccoons out of the dog food bins). Are there any products in those niches for which you could provide a useful comparison review? Are there any problems you could help solve, which would have related products?
    
    Leverage your knowledge and expertise to provide something that other people are looking for. Then you're making something for visitors or readers, and they will have a reason to come to your hub and, hopefully, buy something.

       Well said. I was wanting to say something like that, but didn't know how to articulate it; nor do I have the knowledge to draw from. But I know that Google needs pages that people are looking for, and if that's what a writer writes then it is more likely the content gets indexed and receives traffic.
