Do you plan to actually publish some Hubs on this site?

Here is an article in the Learning Center that explains the basics.
Good luck and hope you write some articles.

Once you make a tracker, your link will be:
      http://   hubpages.com/_TRACKERNAME/user/new

So if you made your tracker tonantzin1, your referral code would be

      http://    hubpages.com/_tonantzin1/user/new

I hope that helps!  ( added spaces so that these did not become hyperlinked.)

There is a difference between a referral tracker that you use to promote your own hub or someone else's hub that you like.  A hub that you are sharing will end with the name of the hub.
A sign up link ends in user/new.
I explained this in non technical terms on a hub I wrote long ago. If you would like to check it out, it is called Referral Trackers, The Non Technical Version. The link to find this hub is (including my referral tracker)
          http://pegcole17.hubpages.com/_1lvmratk … -Your-Hubs

Your link should show your subdomain (your user name - mine is pegcole17) at the beginning of the link. See the part?
          _1lvmratkz5gih
That is my referral tracker. I hope this is helpful to you. Peg

Hello Tonantzin1, It is important to select a good user name right from the beginning. I know of one hubber who changed his name with a lot of help from the Hub Pages staff to move all his hubs to the new name. But I believe you have to open a new account under a different name to do that.
