I have many articles ranked fairly highly throughout Google and Yahoo but haven't found a single one via Bing. Has anyone else experienced this as well?

Just lately I've been getting Bing hits.  Not a lot, but a few.

I've just ignored Bing, and it never occurred to me to pay attention to whether my stuff shows up.  To me, it's just - like - a big mess.  I like Google.

Not as good as google and yahoo, but I get "ok" traffic from Bing. I wonder if someone compares MSN livesearch traffic to Bing traffic.

I get about 800 referrals from Bing in the last week.  Seems to be starting out just fine.

I got one hit through Bing, and I was actually surprised to see it. Microsoft is always lower in the search engine ratings.

Bing is a new search engine that should start picking up pretty heavy as more people start to submit websites. Its nice to have multiple places for exposure on the web.

I read somewhere you need a page ranking of 4 to get listed by bing.  I have photos listed by bing which bring in quite a bit of indirect traffic but none of my hubs are listed directly.  You can submit hubs but I wonder if the page ranking of 4 still applies?

I've just checked and it is my top referrer today - perhaps one of the hubs I submitted has been listed?

Yes just checked with Bing and one of my hubs I submitted is now listed (page rank 3) so submitting hubs may help to get listed.

Not true.  I've got quite a few Hubs listed with them that are not PR4.  In fact, I've got one which right now has a PR of 0 'cuz someone copied it (I DMCA'd them good too!) and it comes up as the first listing returned when I search on Bing for it's main key phrase.

How ,where do you see where a hub is ranked? smile

If you search for page rank there are free tools available including plugins for search engines like Firefox.  I downloaded a plugin and it gives me a page rank toolbar which tells me the rank of any page I look at. My hubs are all 1 to 3.  Hope this helps.

Pagerank is strictly a Google measurement. I doubt MSN or Bing takes it into account because they certainly wouldn't have access to the algorithm(s) that Google uses to determine PR.

My analytics account for the last week shows

    70% Google
    25% Yahoo
    4% AOL
    0.35% Bing

If you want to see if a site, or page, is listed, on any search engine, regardless of rank you can use the search term

    site:yoursite.com

in the search box replacing yoursite.com with the site or page you're interested in. For example if I search for

    site:hubpages.com

on Bing it returns 28,300 results for all the pages including hubs it has listed for Hubpages. The same search term on Google returns over 2 million results!

If you dig deeper by searching for

    site:hubpages.com/hub/your-hub

replacing your-hub with the exact page for your hub, you will see if your hub is listed or not. It won't tell you where but it does tell you if it's listed.

As of right now Bing is my fifth highest traffic source.
Seventh in the past seven days and seventh in the past 30 days.
