    I wrote a hub:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Celebrity-Gossip-Business

What do you think of the photo of John Mayer?

I may be wrong, but it smells like spamming the forums...

Misha and Mark, you are both wrong. I am not spamming, this is an "Entertainment" forum, and there is a funny picture in my hub, I do not know why you are being so negative. I thought it would give someone a laugh, and I am not promoting anything on my Hub.

So much for having a sense of humor ....

Duh! So this is about a sense of humor! For some reason I thought this was about having us to look at your HUB big_smile

On a serious note - this is a kind of gray area, and many people here do consider posts like yours SPAM. Stay warned!

Any time I get asked to go look at some one's hub, I consider that to be promotion of the hub. No?

Unless it crops up in conversation. To be honest, I am sick to death of seeing threads like this.

"I just wrote a great hub - check it out " If I want to look at your hubs, I will.

Are you saying I should post a new thread in the cooking forum for all my recipe hubs? And a new thread in the business forum for all my money making hubs and a new thread in the technology forum for all my tech hubs? And so on.... And we have about 5,000 hubs a day written so if everyone posts a new thread every time they write a new hub you can kiss goodbye to the forums.

        This is called spam.

Well, Mark, I see a lot of Hubbers asking other Hubbers opinions on their hubs "I am new to HubPages, what do you think of my hub?"  "Oh, in answer to your question, I wrote a hub and here is the link ..."

And so on and so forth.

There are a lot of these things going on in the Forums ... so, you better get busy, Mark.

Then, if it was not spam, you could just leave the photo tongue

BTW, who is John Mayer? Why is he wearing such ridiculous beach wear? big_smile

If I knew how to paste a picture in here, I would (but I think I figured it out from replying to your comment). John Mayer is a pop singer from the US, and I think he looks ridiculous in this bikini. One of Jessica Simpson's ex-boyfriend. This was just for a laugh.

I think John Mayer needs to hire a new stylist.

I am not mad, I was trying to add some humor, and I learned how to add a picture to the forums in the process - it is all good. As a general rule, I try to be respectful of others and am not one to make waves, but what does that comment mean? hmm
