when I upload pictures to my hubs, the last several that I have uploaded only show broken links instead of the actual pictures. I already tried going in and re-uploading the pictures but I can't get it to work. anybody know what to do? I don't know if it's a website glitch or not?

@hellovictoria Sorry you are having problems uploading images.
I just tested using Firefox 28.0 in Windows 8.1 and was able to successfully upload and import image via URL from a photo capsule in an existing Hub and using the interfaces here.

      http://hubpages.com/my/photos/import

It could be a browser, system resource, or network connectivity issue.
I would suggest clearing your browser cache and restarting your computer.
If the issue persists in Firefox, try another browser like Chrome.
In some cases, you may even need to uninstall and reinstall the browser.

Here are further browser trouble shooting steps including instructions for clearing your cache (see the end of the Hub).

    hellovictoria,
When you copy the photo, does it say "Copy this photo" or does it say "Copy this link"?

There are some photos which are only links. If you are not sure how to tell then hover your mouse above the photo when you see it and right click your mouse. It will either say "Copy photo" or it will say "Copy link". If it says "Copy link" then that is why you are getting links.

The most recent posts I've had I've been uploading the photos directly from my computer.   Some of them are working but some of them aren't - an example if you would like to see, is the recipe at this link:

The photos in the body seem to be showing just fine, but the top photo isn't showing. I'm really confused - I tried uploading in both chrome and IE on two different computers and it won't work?

It sounds like there could be a problem with your network connectivity.

I see these three images in that Hub.

      http://s1.hubimg.com/u/8847062_f520.jpg
      http://s1.hubimg.com/u/8847096_f260.jpg

      This should show their placement.

Did clearing your cache and restarting your computer have any effect?

      hellovictoria,
I looked at the link which you showed and I looked at the same Hub from your profile and I saw the same three photos. Where are you having the problem? In edit mode? Click on Preview and see if it shows.

Hi The Examiner-1 and Matthew Meyer

I really appreciate your help on this! This morning when I saw your replies, I cleared all browsing history and cookies, restarted, and just to make sure - uninstalled and resinstalled my browser. That seems to have solved the problem as I can now see all the pictures on each of my hubs including this one with no issues.

I was so confused because it was happening on more than one computer so I thought maybe my photo files were corrupt or something. But taking the mentioned steps did fix the problem, and I did it on both my computers - now I can see everything again!!

Thank you both for your help. Really appreciate it!!
