Does it actually say that: 'Unique slug' cause that is just a little...odd?

      Hi there,

Lisa is correct ("If I had to guess, you're getting this error because you're using a title that is already in use on your subdomain. Try using a slightly different title for your hub."). I should add that the error would occur if you're attempting to use a title that exists anywhere on HubPages (and not just on your subdomain).

Have you tried, as Lisa suggested, to alter your Hub's title?

Hope this helps. Thanks @lisavollrath, @amuno, and @LindaSmith1 for the quick assists. And thanks @FatFreddysCat for the band name suggestion (stealing it!) smile

I have never seen/heard of this error message so unfortunately I can offer no advice.

...but I just wanted to say that "Unique Slug" would be a FABULOUS name for a band.

    I'm done. Carry on.

A slug is usually the part of the URL that is created based on the article title. Each article must have a unique slug, so that they have unique URLs.

If I had to guess, you're getting this error because you're using a title that is already in use on your subdomain. Try using a slightly different title for your hub.

Haven't seen this type of error before. You may also want to post here the error image to help hubbers get a clear picture of your problem.

Are you sure it didn't say, "Unique squid"? Maybe it was a compliment.

"Unique Squid" would also be an excellent band name. (writes that down)

Q: How do you catch a unique Squid?
          A: Unique up on it.

Q: How do you catch a tame Squid?
A: Tame way, unique up on it.

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all day. Remember to tip your waitresses, folks.

When service is particularly noteworthy, *ahem*, one places the penny on the saucer then turns the glass upside down over the penny then leave it to rest. Empty or not doesn't matter.

Why did you say *ahem*? It makes me think you are implying something racy, but a penny and a teacup don't jibe with racy. I'm confused.

i don't think i said tea cup, but i always get a cup of water with my service as well as tea which comes in a saucer. and ahem, refers back to noteworthy service which truly wasn't.
