First of all, I just couldn't let such a great title get away from me. Second, I was stunned when I saw that DC just approved the use of recreational Pot for their citizens. Here's my point! As hard as it is to get our politicians to do their jobs now, just imagine the logjam when these fools are getting high in the Halls of Congress? LOL!
The problem is that they are doing their jobs very well and reap the rewards for it. As long as they stay loyal to those who support them they have little to worry about. The real tragedy is what are the people who re elect these criminals smoking?
Great news! I live less than two hours from DC. I bet a day trip to the Smithsonian and national mall will be a blast with a good buzz on.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Someday everything will be legal, no laws, just do what you want. Except murder, maybe! It's pathetic.
Why is it pathetic? Do you wish more control over what people do in their private life?
I really believe this to be an attempt to lower the prison overcrowding in DC. For years they have been swamped with senseless waiting in jail for a delay ridden court system.
I've been wondering what our politicians have been smoking for years. It's about time they make it legal.
I bet they even put the "Butt Buckets back into the Halls. LOL!
Will we ever be rid of the Hippies? EVER?
might as well face reality...
No.
Well, as a long-haired country boy, I can only say that a Hippie is nothing more than an X-GENer or whatever the latest characterization of a free-thinking youth might be, wrapped in a different package.
Personally, I have enjoyed a life and career of shocked looks when I walk in with long hair and an honest attitude of interest and acceptance of change.
In fact, as I aged (yes, an aged Hippie) my outer facade opened a lot of doors for me that would have normally been closed, just because people thought I was not a part of the "established hierarchy".
So, as CCR would say;
"I see a Bad Moon A'risin'
I see Trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today."
Come On, Chill Out!
I mean, what can a flyin' high Congress do to us, anyway.
DON
...its enough to make you want to turn on, tune in and drop out.
Hey, I'd rather see long hair any day than a shaved head!
So True! So True!
If nothing else, the glare is disturbing.
LOL!

Pot or marijuana is supposed to be relaxer or chemotherapy for relaxation of the min and to mean that a good thing.

I ask this because since the U.S. congress makes six figures a year doing essentially NOTHING for the people that voted them in and THEN denies the unemployed extended comps calling the unemployed 'lazy'. Any jobs that paid a living wage in my state went overseas to cheap foreign labor...

Yearly full IRS audit for all major elected officials.A limit on legal fees for any court case...
