Today when I was revamping some article, the ability to select and then quickly link to another article was gone.  I found another way to do those links but would like to see this fixed.

I've encountered the same situation. When I highlight a term in a text capsule and try to link to a related hub (which I know exists), the link tool says "No items found" for my hubs or for all hubs.

The link suggestion tool was retired, partially because it did not suggest the best links consistently.

It is always a better procedure to find and identity only specific links that are directly related to your Hub.

Matthew:  I am speaking here of linking to another one of my own articles, not ones suggested by a tool.  Please tell me you did not get rid of the option to link to your own hubs!

I think Matthew misunderstood the question because the Link Suggestion Tool was retired a long time ago (that was the one that suggested other people's Hubs).

Sorry if I misunderstood what you were talking about.
I think I understand it now.

I just checked and was able to search under "My Hubs" and find results.
So it appears that the issue is resolved.
It may have been related to the site search having issues.

Make sure to clear your browser cache and let me know if you are still having any problems linking your Hubs.

That is what I thought.  We have the link capsule where we can add links.
