    Hello Dear Hubbers,

Once I was a writer on Infobarrel where link building is prohibited as far as I knew but on HP, anyone can make backlink to rank their Hub pages on search engines that I've known from some Forum discussion here. So, is it really? If I write article on article directories, make forum post, web 2.0 and other related sites to my HP article and link to it then any problem?

I generally think link building is a bad idea. Google likes natural links and penalizes unnatural links via Penguin.

As far as whether you can use links to HP articles, I do know that all of the rules Adsense has about that applies to HP; for instance, you can't use link exchange groups or sites where the main purpose is to get links.

      Make a forum post where?
If you are talking about going on forums outside of HP and leaving answers to questions, and then, once you have established your presence, leaving answers with your HP address, that is a recommended method of establishing links.
The best way to establish links is, like Nate points out, just write good original content so that others will link to your article. Post original and useful photos and they will be repinned on Pinterest, making more links.
I am not sure about the article directories. Do you think that increased traffic from them would be a good use of your time?

I've heard that Google considers article directories bad links.

That's I think but can I use major article directories, related forums and web 2.0 to increase visitors and rank my hub pages? What's your idea? Share it please.

I have not done that personally, but I've heard of other writers doing it and they said it had positive results; mainly the relevant forums. But my understanding is that Google doesn't give much power to such links. Here's an interesting forum thread about forum links: http://moz.com/community/q/forum-signat … ks-and-seo

I'd be hesitant to use article directories because I don't think Google likes them. Here's what Matt Cutts from Google says about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo75Og4 … e=youtu.be

Here's an interesting article on links in comments: http://searchenginewatch.com/sew/news/2 … t-keywords

Great! some useful info you placed here. So, should we just stick to On Page SEO while writing Hub pages article? How they can be promoted to get visitors? Social networking or something else?

Yes, that's what I think. Some good keyword phrases that attract visitors, good content that gives readers what they need and want and maybe some social sharing. If you have attractive images in Hubs, Pinterest can bring in some traffic.
