Did I miss a notification of a change in logging in, or am I the only one who is suddenly having to type in a Captcha after my password to log in? It just stated this morning, but I don't remember seeing anything about it

I have never seen that, Judy, but I have only been here a short time; seems very odd!

HP only shows that occasionally.  You shouldn't see it every time you login.

You will often get a RECPATCHA when you login from a different location (ISP, IP, etc) or one that is public (coffee shop, etc.)

So how long does it take to get rid of it? I only logged int my my computer once at the coffee shop and not into HP at all.

It isn't something that goes away for good.
I get them occasionally as well.
You can see a RECAPTCHA any time we are unsure of an IP/browser etc.

It could also be affected by how your ISP issues IP addresses.

I am less than thrilled with those things. I hope HP is using the ones that we can actually read.

    No Captcha on login either.

Did you change or update anything on your computer this past weekend, Judy?

I had my computer on in a fast food place yesterday, something I never do.  I checked on my other computers to see if that was problem, and they are all doing it. I'm really annoyed with this. It took me 8 tries until I was able to get the Captcha right.

It could be that if your IP address changes frequently you will see the Captcha as an HP security precaution.
