I have a grand total of 9 hubs so far, and thought I had been getting pretty good scores and traffic, some better than others. Recently I started posting a series of hubs, and because I am developing a book related to these hubs (they are excerpts essentially), I would very much appreciate feedback - both on the topic and writing as a whole and on how to better format them for hubpages and the like.
Thanks so much!!!! Feel free to be blunt!
Morgan, I just read your article on Alchemy. Very interesting. I read it through - fast - and frankly enjoyed it thoroughly! I work with precious metals all of the time, so I am especially drawn to articles that reference gold.
Forgive me if I missed anything, but I thought it was stellar!
Thank you so much! I'm glad and relieved that there is an audience for what I've written
For hubpages, shorter paragraphs are better as they get read by many who often just scan online content. Numbered summaries of the most interesting points which you have many in the hub can also be powerful. The information is really interesting.
Shorten my paragraphs and keep it up with numbered summaries. maybe paraphrase here and there. got it. thanks for the help!
I found the series very interesting and your writing is fine.
One think to keep in mind is that QAP raters and HubPages like large swaths of text to be segmented into sections with subheadings. What's normal in book format sometimes doesn't work online and you get the 'wall-o-text' effect. Breaking up the hub into sections with two or three paragraphs apiece makes the online reading experience easier.
Can do! should I add more images or other types of capsules between them or is the subheading trick usually enough to ward off a wall o text?
I tried the subtitle thing and broke my text up a little more with my most recent post...and my score was much better than the one i had posted before that. Still only in the high 80's but getting good traffic. Thanks so much!

i just read your hub on windows 10 and the cloud and i thought if was beautifully writtenbut viewing it on a mobile made the paragraphs a bit big to digest but still a well written hub
