I've recently published a high-scoring featured hub on Easter. I did the best I could not to duplicate it, when I've written it from my own words with my research. I had no problem with my previous leafy green veggie hub, when I've did the same thing. But today I've noticed the duplicated pink highlights around the hub and just spent an hour revising it. Now it's no longer featured. Will it be back up to featured, when approved and republished?
Thanks Linda. I've edited it and revised it for a whole hour.
It usually takes 24 hours. Just watch to right side of hub title. Once that broken circle is gone, it should be okay unless you see a symbol on left side of hub title.
Thanks Linda, I've noticed it's in green letters and the pink is gone. I hope all's okay and check back at 5 PM tomorrow. I don't have a broken circle. I have no circle though. What does that mean?
I moved my hubs, so I can't check anything. Look to see if what is there for your featured hubs. It may be featured already.
Here is a hub by Greek Geek that might help. http://greekgeek.mythphile.com/2014/08/ … explained/
Thanks Linda. I'll check it out. I wonder which is worse--no circle or broken circle.
The broken circle, is the arrows that form a circle. Those are pending.
Look at the symbols bottom of your page that lists hubs. There is also a black circle, and one that is black and white. The symbols at bottom of this page covers almost everything.
I think there is nothing on the right side once hub is featured.
Okay. So no circle (unless it's white), is a pending hub. I don't see any arrows though. Hmm.
And no pending circling arrows either on the right side either.
No pending circling arrows so far. Just the hub's title highlighted in green with a white/no circle. Did they chance the pending status from arrows to white space?
Never mind. It got featured once again and passed inspection with a H. Phew!
If there is no black circle with an "H" in it, the hubs is not featured.
If there is nothing there (blank) the hub is not published.
Hope that helps.
Added: Just saw your post, Kristen. Glad it has the "H".
Glad it got republished. I migrated here from squidoo and am still learning the rules. I noticed that if I remove the links to amazon on hubs that they are published with no problem. Also, whenever writing an article or blog post, I always check it with a plagiarism checker just to make sure it is unique.
Me too. I hate the dread duplication message. Good idea.I wish I kept and downloaded the rest of my Yahoo Voices from last August. I had some good ones. Oh well.

I have only ever had one featured hub before but when I checked my account today I was shocked to find I have 13 in featured hubs due to low engagement. This is proof that traffic has fallen greatly. It's not just my lowest scoring hubs either..it is right across the board. Is anyone else...

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

First off, my hubs are transferred from Squidoo, and I am aware of various issues there. I'd already checked and edited hubs after the transition, so this is all post transfer. What I don't understand is why some of my hubs get unfeatured after I've edited them? One even got...

What inspires you to write quality hubs when you know they can be unfeatured for low engagement?Making a quality content hub requires effort and dedication. With the update of Google Panda and low engagement of some hubs, which sometimes results to getting hubs unfeatured, what keeps you inspired...
