Quick update on the unloved trout hub (trailing hypen and all)

    http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/3295

Misha gave me some advice to optimize the SE ranking, which I followed and here are the results after nearly 2 weeks. Not exactly huge traffic, but a massive difference to before ans definitely a lot more google traffic. I think there had been about 4 google visits prior to this.

Nice one Misha. Thanks. Looking forward to trout hunting season big_smile

    YW Mark big_smile

You still need to work on this if you want real traffic, though https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/a … amp;bwmf=u

Yeah, I know. That takes time though smile Not sure I want to spend that much time on this big_smile

Any idea why the links I did drop do not show here?

Could be a problem with a trailing hyphen. Actually, since it does not show many links (and those that are shown I can change tongue) I think it may be a good idea to re-do this hub from scratch with new URL...

    LOL

I guess, but I made sure the trailing hypen is in the links. Does that mean they are invisible still?

Damn. LOL And yes, I see these are your links smile. I would recognize your accent anywhere big_smile

Could be a problem with Yahoo itself. I did check it a few days ago and it did not show me even your hub itself yikes

So, you can wait a bit more and check in a week or so. But if you really did not do much on link building, re-doing the hub will remove that part from guessing smile If you did a few dozens of links already - that's your call if you want to re-do them, too.

We can't really have any further improvement if we don't see backlinks in Yahoo sad

Probably let this one die a quiet death then. My stupid mistake for not checking the URL to start with. big_smile
