Do you believe in the concept of immortality?  Do you feel that immortality is a unrealistic premise, diverting humankind from facing and living a full life?  Do you further contend immortality is an excuse for some to avoid this life, feeling that there is something over the horizon so to speak?  Do you believe that there is definitely immortality in accordance to your particular religious, spiritual, and ethical beliefs?   Do you contend that there is no such thing as immorality and "immortality" is being remembered by family, relatives, friends, and contributions to society through your works and talents?  What is IMMORTALITY to you?

The atoms within us might be immortal, but our state in this Universe is temporary.

Inmortality is the force that drives our inner self through the path of life since the beginning of the history of the universe and probably before. THe thing that they call soul is the one that has been travelling through that eternal path and is the one that is perfectly aligned with the almighty force in the universes.

    Interesting image, gm.
Maybe dark matter is a bit like water … slowed down.
Maybe souls are energy slowed down
Maybe if we slow ourselves down to the speed of the universe, we can jump on board, as long as we are going at the same rate of speed …
How can we slow ourselves down? Thats the question ...

    Profound questions, Grace.
I would like to ask one (2 in retrospect) further: When we each perceive different answers to any of your questions, what is it that causes us in some cases to put up the barriers to further communication?  How do we work to dismantle them?

We must be open to all aspects and presentations regarding the concept of immortality. While some eschew the concept of immortality as fantastical, even a schizoid premise, others strongly maintain that there is spiritual immortality and that physical death is just the beginning of true life as they see it.
