Can we only have 1 amazon mod. now or is this an editor's preference?

   Has hubpages switched the rule that we can now only have 1 amazon module, or is this simply the preference of a particular hubs editor?
   
   I have a number of hubs that have been unfeatured due to spammy elements. Even though I thought the rule was that we could have 1 amazon module per 300 words, I received a response back from hubs editors saying that they prefer we only have 2-3 amazon modules regardless of our word count. (Yes, every single amazon module contains related products that enhance the page in my opinion. They are books that I used in my lesson plan.) I've been trying to pick and choose the 2-3 most important books to feature on my lessons and am still not getting some pages featured. One of my pages, a lesson plan on Ireland, was snipped to only include 1 amazon module supposedly because the other 2 children's books on Ireland "unrelated."
   
   I am honestly wanting to know the answer to my above question. If hubpages.com really does now have the policy that we can only include one amazon module, I can make the adjustments to my lesson plan hubs.  It will be more of a nuisance for my readers, but I can do it if that is what is required.  However, if this is simply the preference of a particular editor, then I will try to wait a while and see what happens at the next edit update.

      HP "spammy" can also mean links to other sites.  You have some links to enchangedlearning.com and morecoloringpages.com, maybe HP thinks they are spam? Sounds like you'll have to send yet another email to find out what it is. They sure are being rough on you.

         Most of the time I have found out the issue has been the number of amazon modules; however, yes, I guess it could be the links on the above hub. I did make sure I didn't have more than 2 links to any particular page. About a year ago I did have to remove every single link on a couple of my hubs before a hub editor would publish them. If my page remains unfeatured after another edit attempt, I'll see if maybe the links are the problem.

            It's not only about limiting yourself to two per domain, but also making sure they are highly relevant to the topic from a moderator's point of view.  For example, you also have a link to operationworld.com with instructions on how to pray for Russia.  That doesn't make any sense in the context of a hub outlining a geography and culture lesson plan.
            
            But, I'm not a moderator so I could be wrong about what's tripping the spam filter.  Your Amazon links look fine to me.

   I wonder if the issue is having the two Amazon capsules listed directly underneath each other - I've had problems with that before.

      I was told previously that we could have 2 amazon modules next to each other, but it wouldn't hurt to separate them and see what happens. I'll try it on the next edit if I don't "pass" my most recent edit attempt. I am always hoping for a more lenient editor.

      I had problems when Amazon capsules were close together, as the moderator stated they needed to be near the text. On one, I had a whole text capsule nearby about the product. It can be confusing.

   I think your Russia hub is delightful and all content is relevant. Make certain that you don't have more than 2 links from other sources, too, for instance enchantedlearning and the two map links - are there others on the page? Just guessing here. I think the page is great.

      Thank you so much for the complement and suggestion! I think I tried to make sure I didn't have more than 2 links for each site, but I can double check.
