I wrote a few articles that I posted and earned ad earnings (Ad Earnings Only). I'm thinking about increasing my earning potential in 2016 with more informational articles: (health, recipes, how to's, and etc.). I'm also thinking about adding Amazon and Google Adsense. However, I haven't posted since May of 2015. But, I'm still earning from ads. It's not much, only $[snipped] in 2015 from the Ad Program. Do you think it's worth the time and effort to start back writing quality articles (on various subjects) to increase my Ad revenue, Amazon and Google Adsense?
Google pretty much ignores health articles from anybody but medical websites. Recipes don't seem to do that well either, not to mention they aren't protected by copyright when stolen.
Btw, I perused your hubs and noticed your traffic accolade. Could you put in a good word for me upstairs?
And 992 comments on that one hub isn't bad either.
Recipes have been doing well for me if they aren't about common things (like my snickerdoodle cookies) if I just post them on Pinterest with good photos. Nothing like that does well on Google anymore, but Pinterest does give good traffic.
I'd forgotten about Pinterest and recipes. You are right.
I say, yes, it's worth it. Especially the HP Ad Program. If you can get some fairly decent traffic, you can keep earning long after the writing work is done.
I agree with NateB11. It becomes passive income, meaning you are still earning income from your past hubs.
VERY worth it..
I am earning a full time living from Adsense, Amazon and other earning streams online... and if I can do it with my terrible writing then anyone can...
...but to be fair, LeanMan, HubPages is not one of your main income sources.
That is wonderful ..making a living..well done!
Just to be clear, he doesn't mean on HubPages

I seem to have come to HP just before all the changes. I have put in almost F/T hours on the days I write my hubs. I've read whole books, not only the ones I review, but for material for my hubs. I think what I write is well written and informative. I kept hoping as I got more readers, the money...

I have deleted my adsense account myself. And was just wondering if I can still earn money on hubpages with my amazon. Thanks

I was just now approved for my Google AdSense account after my 10th featured hub but I'm very confused about payment. Until now they would not approve me because of insufficient content, however, the hubs I have written have already garnered over 1600 views. Does anyone know if I am going to...

My AdSense earnings for 2 years are very low compared to what I've earned from HP earnings. So I wish to give all the ad spaces to HubPages earnings program. Is it possible?

What's up with all the One Penny Google AdSense Earnings?Lately, all I am earning from Google AdSense is measly 1 cent clicks. Why is that? I used to get some decent revenues from Google AdSense clicks. HubPages Ad Program is my primary advertising mechanism, but I still used to...
