Songs you HATE...by bands/artists you love?

   I'm sitting here listening to Stryper, a band I've been a fan of since the 1980s, and "Sing-Along Song" comes on. Suddenly I realized... I *hate* that song with a passion. It's so cheesy and nauseating that it gives me a pain in my chest.
   Even our most beloved, favorite artists can't hit one out of the park every time.
   So that's my query: what songs do you hate by your favorite artists?

      Guns N Roses - Anything after Use Your Illusion (and half of those songs!). I REALLY hate their version of Sympathy for the Devil.

         I've went off the Stones version so I have to be honest and admit I like the Roses version. This can't be right!!! But I can't help it.

   I used to quite like this one (and I still love the music video...which was directed by David Fincher of future "Seven" and "Fight Club" fame by the way), but after the near constant play that it got on MTV and radio for a while I never need to hear it ever again.

   "bully" by Shinedown,... i love the group, and a LOT of what theyve produced,.... and im even willing to admit that by all estimations "bully" is a great song,... it gets air play, its popular, its a fan favorite, musically its put together well, its catchy,.... but i just despise it even as i find myself humming along on the radio to it,.....
   
   why?....... because its a band waggon song,..... its against bullying,.... seriously?,... thats all you got? your against bullying?... wow, go out on a limb and make a song that says your against domestic violence too,... wait, nickle back beat you there, as did half of country music, but country already made a stand against sobriety so that subject can get conflicted at times.
   
   i guess my beef is that i like music that says something that might be hard to say otherwise, or makes me look at something in a way i never have before, songs that make you think,...,.... a song that says bullying is bad is like writting a song about how mcdonalds french fries taste good,... wow,... thats tough, and controversial,... said no one ever.
   
   on the other hand, if the mcdonalds french fries were a not so veiled metaphore for consumerism and over indulgeance to the point of self destruction,.... i might get into that,.... but no one has gone there yet so im still waiting for that.
   
   i dont mean to be a hag on it,.... i know that by all the rest of the worlds standards its a great song,.... it just boils me personaly,.... we all knew bullies growing up, and chances are we still deal with one kind of bully or another in adulthood,.... i just never needed a song to say bullies were assholes,... wow,... poop stinks, i'll write a song about how poop stinks in case some one out there didnt know it already,... just sayin,....

   Timeless Miracle are probably my favorite band of all time, despite them only having released one album. Said album comprises of brilliantly epic and melodic tunes like "Curse of the Werewolf", the title track, and "The Red Rose". There's also the wonderfully intense "Return of the Werewolf", the token ballad "Memories", the offbeat and upbeat "Church of the Damned", and that's not even mentioning other stand-out tunes like "Down to the Gallows" and "The Voyage". And then there's the 5-year-long teaser "Voices from the Past" that was supposed to be from their second album (that never came)...
   
   ...And then there's "The Devil". "The Devil" sucks. It sucks hard. It sucks so hard that it blows. Physicists are studying this phenomenon, because it is impossible for something to suck and blow at the same time, yet "The Devil" somehow manages to.

    All Abba songs.  I admire the group, their talent for writing hit records is outstanding.  However, I find the songs behave like an earworm that intrusively play in my brain and I can't stand them!  Even more annoyingly, despite loathing the songs, I know all the words.  It's some kind of Nordic brainwashing. ;D

    Janet Jackson: Rhythm Nation. I like her, and saw her in concert which was pretty awesome. But, I just can't stand that song.
