Where would we be today under President Romney?
Like Trump, he claims to be a self-made man. But, as we know, they both came from wealth.
It can be assumed that Romney would have followed the precepts of God and his religion.
Trump does not seem to be particularly religious and apparently is not opposed to getting away with stuff when it suits him. Romney might have played it more "by the book."

Mitt Romney is a good man and the country would have been tremendous hands had he been elected. He has created jobs, started businesses and actually run successful ventures. I know a lot of conservatives did not turn out for him, which is a disgrace (in my opinion). Above all, he did it all with class.
"Trump does not seem to be particularly religious and apparently is not opposed to getting away with stuff when it suits him."
The first is probably a good thing, and the second...how many of us speed, drive drunk or use a cell phone while driving? Is not shoplifting a major problem? Marital infidelity?
The reality is that 'he who wants to be king' is always held to higher standard, as he or she should be.
Don't be ridiculous - we very seldom hold our politicians to a higher standard. We re-elect people just out of jail, that were in for crimes committed while in office. We allow those violating basic security procedures (for no more reason than personal convenience) to maintain their security clearance and run for the highest office in the land. Half the country will vote for a common thief that already tried to shoplift the white house.
It's a nice sounding declaration, but it doesn't hold any water - not in this country. Except, of course, when the perpetrator is of the opposite party, right?
That ideal applies to both party candidates, it is just in my mind some sins exceed others, so it is all relative
Some sins certainly DO exceed others. Murder exceeds shoplifting, for example. But at the same time, some sins give a look into the psyche, the attitude, of the sinner. And those attitudes, depending on the person, their abilities and the position they occupy in society, can be far worse than the sin we know about.

When Trump was deciding to run for President in 2015, he interviewed with Romney. He decided Romney was too weak to run for president and he was right. He also decided the rest of the 16 declared candidates cannot win either. That was why he decided to jump in. The rest is history.Romney just...

Who is the best choice for the next U.S. President. Oprah, Trump, Mitt Romney, Hillary? Who then? This question presupposes that Barry O'bama will not be re-elected. But I believe he will be unless the opposition comes up with a blockbuster candidate like Oprah. Or maybe George...

The man is truly embarrassing,he is incapable of answering a single question on any topic because of the fear of the extreme right which makes him give nonsensical answers and look like a mumbling fool when asked even the simplest of questions.

I thought, a couple of days back, that there was some truth to the story from the Right that there was a trip wire placed by 'so called' left wing media that unfairly traps Donald Trump, attributing to him statements and policy positions in regards to surveillance of Muslim groups here in the US,...
