I have just published my first hub and for the first day I had 13 views. What seemed weird to me was that 12 of them were from my own country (Albania). I thought that probably my visits to my own hub are counted as well. Is this the case? If yes how can this be avoided.
Thanks in advance.
Hello, yes, your own views are included in the HubPages stats.
Is there anyway of not counting them because it is so confusing especially when you have few hubs and few visits.
You cannot filter out your own views in the HubPages stats. However, Google Analytics has a filter that you can set to ignore any views from your own IP address. This provides many more and more comprehensive statistics reports.

How do I exclude my own visits from my Hubpages stats?I don't mean excluding my visits from Google Analytics. I already have a filter for that. I mean just from Hubpages stats, which seems to be a separate counting mechanism.

What is wrong...

I have a feature request. When I'm logged in and I visit my own page, I don't want that to show up as a pageview under myAccount. Is there anyway to make this happen? I suppose as your hub gets more and more popular this becomes less of an issue. Another way to achieve this...

Are our own views counted in the totals on the "my account" page? This is something that I've been wondering for a while. I suspect that they are, but wondered if somebody could confirm this for me, as it's just useful to know! Thanks.

What duration constitutes a page view? 15 seconds? 30? Just wondering because I know that ours count as views when we check something. I wish we could control for that so pages views would be closeer to accurate.
