Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and now Alex Jones. These are angry, loud, obnoxious peddlers of fake news who appeal to a significant segment of the public. They peddle ugly rumors and wild conspiracy theories in the most offensive and crude manner.

Two days ago, Hillary haters waited up all night, trembling in anticipation for the Wikileaks bombshell that would finally end her political career. They were the victim of an epic trolling by Julian Assange.

Right-wing "news" person Alex Jones of infowars.com had an unhinged, insane meltdown when Assange did nothing more than promote Wikileaks on their 10th anniversary.

Why do you think a nutcase like Alex Jones is so popular, when he is wrong so often? Why do people like him and his angry, classless rantings!?

Watch the epic meltdown when he realized he was trolled by the much savvier and infinitely smarter Assange.

For every maggot "journalist " on the right , AT THIS POINT and given our media  , there are at least two on the left .  The sad part is P.P.  There is NO truth that could be pointed out about Hilary  that wouldn't be overshadowed by her much sordid and  incredibly  crooked past, OR HER HUSBANDS, SUPPORTED BY HER !
Sex crimes committed against women would be one subject that would render her  unelectable !
BUT ONLY if women like you cared !

You know it and I know it !

I asked about angry right-wing purveyors of "news" in general and Alex Jones in particular.

Would you care to address the question?

"I asked about angry right-wing purveyors of "news" in general and Alex Jones in particular."

What is right-wing in your mind?  Conservative?

I would not insult conservatives by putting them in the same category as these reactionary lunatics.

Technically, conservatives are right wing, but I want to make it clear that I don't believe Alex Jones to be representative of the sane right wing in the U.S.

Here is your answer , I challenge you to listen to Urban Radio Station on Sirius radio , I believe channel 126 ,if you want to see  bias and  sensationalism      I loved how you group ALL conservative hosts together and ask a loaded question about one -though ideologically including all , You are learning  well the typical  socialist trick of grouping all with one that offends you .   Sal  Alinsky  would have been proud  and  Margaret Sanger too !

When  you get sick of cool aid campaigning , come on over to independent thought !

I named three conservative hosts. Three, not all, as you say. I did not list a whole bunch of conservative pundits who I mightily disagree with but who at least maintain a grip on reality and a modicum of decency: David Brooks, Peggy Noonan, Robert Kagan, Steve Schmidt, even Bill Kristol, who I thoroughly despise.

So, do you have anything specific to say about Alex Jones and the veracity of his Infowars website?

I've only listen to him once or twice , all of these pundits are slightly off the wall ,even  Sean Hannity once said on the air that "....................There has to be something definitely wrong with someone's head to do "this 'all of the time ",.................    both sides of political ideology have their own bias  .

Even you get that !.........................right ?

Soros admitted five years ago (in leaked Politico documents) that his group run by the White House, to this day, Media Matters was going to infiltrate the independent press from within, hire people, and have them basically claim false reports.
        That's called espionage in French.

I can answer why I listen to anyone of those.

    Since I am not:
    1) a homosexual
    2) A pedophile or sex monger
    3) A marxist
    4) a socialist
    5) tatted or pierced person
    6) not a deviant in most areas of my life
    7) not a fascist

    What I am is
    1) Someone who believes there's a power greater than myself out there
    2) someone who believes in the Constitution
    3) someone who believes I have the right to privacy
    4) someone who believes the government should have very limited powers
    5) someone who believes dishonest politicians should be prosecuted whether it be GOP or democrat
    6) someone who believes that most departments of the government should be shut down
    7) Someone who has a sense of what is right and what is wrong
    8) Someone who believes that killing factories like Planned Parenthood were good in Nazi Germany but not here
All 3 are great alternatives to the biased, liberal and marxist agendas of the media outlets in the U.S.
I would and will continue to support all 3 as they somewhat balance the propaganda dished out at the TV news centers and the biased newspapers that support the corruption and socialistic bias of our current scum in d.c.

Anyone who thinks there's any honest journalism left int he U.S. - well, I have some great ocean front property for sale in Montana.

    Have a great day!

The Clinton's once itemized underwear for a tax deduction for $2.  In 1993 I believe.

That was widely talked about and the comedians and pundits had a great time with that material.  It was funny!  Lots of jokes have been told over the years, its called freedom of speech.

You seem to be following the CNN news about hillary blindly.
Lot of holes blown in the CNN lack of news and biased news.
In fact, journalists these days justify their bias when reporting on Trump, disregard facts when reporting on hillary.
What is any more whacko about Jones?
The president lied about obamacare, lied about benghazi, lies about invading the privacy of American citizens, hillary lied about benghazi, lied about her emails.
Lies are abundant in the main stream press, as they spew out the propaganda they are told to spew by their owners and the politicians in d.c.
Do I think Jones is any more ridiculous than the lies I get told by the U.S. government?
            Nope........
You can't say one side spewing out lies is better than the other side spewing out misinformation. Both are not reporting with substantial facts to back up their agendas.
You're just angry with Jones because you don't like his bias.
If you were angry about lies - well, then you'd be ticked off at obama, hillary, the main stream media and all the newspapers and magazines.
            Which it appears you're not.
Can't have lies from your bias be more justified that the misinformation from the people you don't like.
            Carry on...........

                A lies a lie.
One lies more, one lies less.
Just like Trump and hillary - lesser of two evils.
Don't like Alex, don't listen to him.
And you will never understand why people like and listen to the guy.
It's like trying to convince me that hillary and bill are not some of the worst scum in politics. I know what I read, and not much will change my mind on that.
There's reason they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream......

LOL - if the politicians are lying, the main news networks are lying, what difference does it make if independent internet show is lying?
Obama's has consistently lied, clinton (both hillary and bill) have lied, bush lied, the FED lies, the FBI lies, the CIA lies, Dan Rather lies, Wolf Blitzer lies.
                    Where are "real" news networks?
And your big concern is an independent news show?
Why not concentrate on the  lies your elected officials tell to enact laws that take away your freedoms?
Or object to the lies that they tell that get us involved in unjust wars that kill innocent men, women and children?
Or the lies they tell to cover up the stealing of YOUR wealth by banks? (Notice that there are still NO bankers in jail for the 2007/08 financial debacle, no SEC, FDIC or FED official in jail for enabling or not doing their jobs to stop the theft)
Your concern about a misleading internet show is amazing considering the false information thats being dished out daily by the mass media, your government and the FED. (Which is controlled by the financial industrial complex that's taken your wealth away from you)
I would prefer an end to the lies by the U.S.  government and it's agencies. Alex Jones can babble as long as he likes. (His right in a free society)
Now, that would be an effort that would be worth pursuing - getting rid of politicians who consistently lie - that would make the U.S. a much better place.
Getting Alex Joes to do anything accomplishes nothing.......
                    Have a happy day.

Why I believe people like Alex Jones have become so popular is I believe with outbursts like this people find it entertaining. Some may not necessarily agree with him, but watch him to see how he will react to things. Also, I think people (some I should say) are disappointed with what mainstream news or media has been presenting to us. People like Alex Jones can offer a different and often unpopular perspective. I'm not saying I agree with his behavior and certainly the clip I watched was embarrassing, but I honestly think that is why many go to watch and listen to him.

    1. profile image0
PrettyPantherposted 7 years agoin reply to this

Yes, I suppose he is entertaining to a certain type of mind. But many of his followers believe he is reporting facts that the mainstream media will not. For example, he believes Obama will declare martial law to remain in office, and he presents what he calls "evidence" to back it up. Of corse, the evidence is a lot of supposition and innuendo, but people lap it up like it's sweet, sweet nectar.

      1. The Old Guard profile image61
The Old Guardposted 7 years agoin reply to this

Obama declaring martial law is not beyond reality.
Trump is a serious threat to the elite - obama, hillary, the koch brothers, DOJ, the FED.
He's a wild card that may or may not go after the corruption found in all the halls of the U.S. government.
Or believe the press - we are in fairy tale land, where everything is coming up roses and all of us are soon to be employed. Where obama and hillary can do no wrongs, socialism is great, marxism is even better, Muslims (as they blow up innocent people on a regular basis) are just misunderstood poor souls, men and women are forced to share bathrooms - "political correctness" for the sick and deranged.
Privacy for citizens is thrown out the window, the FED continues to feed money to the banks that are as corrupt as any Mafia loan shark.
Yup, Jones is a wacko, and the Clinton News Network spews out the government propaganda like a good little puppet.
        Carry on...........
