Please help. What can I do to stop Amazon capsules from changing. It doesn't look professional when my tips on buying a car, and someone changes the capsule to an add for the cartoon cars movie. Please help. What can I do. This is the third on to change. First it was the Kelley blue book. Then changed to emergency car kit. Then the cars.
Are you entering the Amazon ASIN number for the product you want displayed, or are you letting the system choose the best product for your keywords? I suggest going to Amazon, find the product you want displayed, copy the ASIN Number (that is Amazon's product number specific to that exact product/model.size etc) and plug that number into the Amazon capsule.
The only thing that can go wrong then is that the item go out of stock or be discontinued.
Hi, I am letting them give a list then I pick so it makes sense with my article. Having it change on quality articles confused me. I didn't know it could change on its own. I'll try what you suggested and see if it makes a difference. I was surprised it would change to a cartoon movie. To me that cheapens my article. Thank you for the help.
If you are using keywords you will get any listing current top on those keywords.
If you are actually recommending a product to your readers, it makes more sense to choose a particular product and have the ad target that item.
Thank you, my problem is it's changing on it own. Some times a day later or a week later. I didn't know it could do that.
If you are using keywords, it will change when some other listing is now top for those keywords--that's what the keywords function is for.
If you use keywords and is brings up a great product, and you just want to list that product, enter its ASIN.
Yes, thank you. That is what Iam going to try.

I often see barely related Amazon ads on pages here. Sometimes, I see ads that seem plain perverse -- ads for Apple TV on an apple pie recipe page, for example.I'm sure a lot of the most unrelated (and harmful) Amazon ads come from the 'choose keywords' feature in Amazon capsules.Might be helpful...

Janderson just submitted some great suggestions on this thread:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/126313#post2666393and I think this one deserves a suggestion post on its own. We're always being told to be discriminating with our Amazon capsules - less is more, they must be directly related, etc...

I am almost ready to publish a new article, and I want to add two Amazon Capsules. I know how to do it the old way. But I saw on lobobrandon and a few other's hubs a different way. There is just an orange "A" and what looks like a hyperlink, and when clicked, it takes the reader right to...

Hi MickiIf you've noticed I've not written any hubs recently, I'm on my vacations from University and thought of doing a 30 hubs in 30 days challenge. Rather, I've gone for a 30 Wizzley articles in 30 days - for a good reason: Their amazon Capsules are way better formatted - users feel like...

I have a question for those of you who use Amazon in your hubs. Let's say that you are writing a hub with a list of different products. Do you think it's better to put all the amazon stuff at the bottom of the hub, all in one place, or to spread the ads throughout the hub, with one ad per product?...
