In the speech to the Boy Scouts President Trump mentioned the importance of momentum. I believe he is attempting to inspire all of us to tend to the reality of positive thinking, positive action and positive living. He KNOWS a positive focus will bring forth a positive momentum in life.

… whats wrong with that?
Wondering
His exceptionally encouraging and uplifting speech ended on this note:
And I just want to end by saying, very importantly, God bless you. God bless the Boy Scouts. God Bless the United States of America. Go out, have a great time in life, compete, and go out and show me that there is nobody, nobody like a Boy Scout.

"But here you learn the rewards of hard work and perseverance, never, ever give up. Never quit. Persevere. Never, ever quit. You learn the satisfaction of building a roaring campfire, reaching a mountain summit or earning a merit badge after mastering a certain skill. There's no better feeling than an achievement that you've earned with your own sweat, tears, resolve, hard work. There's nothing like it. Do you agree with that?"
This coming from a POS draft dodger that borrowed a million dollars ($7M in todays economy) and claims it was a great business investment. See kids, the orange man-baby never quits at becoming a complete disaster as president, embarrassing the crap out of this nation and dragging us back 50 years! Make America Stupid Again!
Which he turned into $5B. May I be as stupid.
"But the big thing, never quit, never give up; do something you love. When you do something you love as a Scout, I see that you love it. But when you do something that you love, you'll never fail. What you're going to do is give it a shot again and again and again. You're ultimately going to be successful.
And remember this, you're not working. Because when you're doing something that you love, like I do -- of course I love my business, but this is a little bit different. Who thought this was going to happen. We're, you know, having a good time. We're doing a good job.
(APPLAUSE)
…..> "Doing a good job. But when you do something that you love, remember this, it's not work. So you'll work 24/7. You're going to work all the time. And at the end of the year you're not really working. You don't think of it as work.
…..> "When you're not doing something that you like or when you're forced into do something that you really don't like, that's called work, and it's hard work, and tedious work."
He embodies positive thinking!
HE, at least, is anti-slavery!
So, no, I, for one, am not down on Trump.
Is anybody surprised it took 8 days for anybody to respond to this post? How can anyone still defend Deplorable Donald?
Conversely, the Trump supporter could argue that no response implies the fact that the opposition couldn't come up with a way to show they were up on anything. Which would confirm the assessment in the OP. (Which I don't agree with, by the way.)

Before anyone else opens up a forum about this, and I know the debate is still going on. Who do you think won this year's final presidential debate of this year?

I recently posted a poem in a Facebook poetry group. The poem is a mixture of serious sentiment and humor. And you must keep in mind that in this particular group people have often posted poems glorifying dangerous and deviant sex acts. My poem is tame in comparison. There is no gratuitous...

I would not have thought I would ever be praising Gov. 'Salt & Soda' Cuomo, but after watching his press conferences over the last few days I am impressed with his honesty and the way he is addressing his citizens.I know that is a wide-open door for anti-Trump comments, but Cuomo's approach...
