   I am absolutely positive there is a God and there is only one God.  Some call him different names but he is real. I have seen miracles that have shown me how real he is. If you turn your back on him, you will have evil in your life. And Jesus gave his life so we could all be saved but you have to believe and ask him. There is much evil in the world today but it does not come from God. It comes from Satan. I know if the world ends, I am ready.

   When speaking about "God," the general population usually discusses views of Christianity.  I would like to make a reference regarding a paragraph that Dan wrote in regards to why God would allow suffering to go on in the world.
   
   Albeit, I really loved your analogy of a parent letting a child experience pain as way of rearing them to be better people...but I have to disagree with you, on that one.
   
   Again...this is just my view, as a Christian.  Since the beginning of the world, there has been a power struggle between God and Satan.  This is referenced many times throughout the bible.  God has always given man the gift of free will..starting in the Garden of Eden.  When Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and disobeyed God, he banished them from Eden.  Over the books of the bible and the many centuries thereafter, you can clearly see the struggle between good and evil (God vs Satan).  Those who are obedient to God are rewarded but those who give into Satan's temptations do not get the blessing hand of God over their lives.
   
   In today's society where this is so much greed, hate, violence, sex, drugs, crimes, etc...it is our society's choice to give into those temptations...Satan's temptations.  We all have a choice about what road we will choose...the one of righteousness or the one degradation.  God hasn't left us (He's still here)...but rather we have left God. 
   
   I just wanted to share my take on what Dan had said:)

   God our Father is the one and only Power that leads us. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, even prayed to our Father in heaven. That is the only one that you should believe in. We should not believe nor trust in any other source.

   Yes I do believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He has given us His Holy Word in the Bible. The Bible is God breathed...66 books written by 40 authors over a period of 1600 years. Those authors were inspired by God to write what they wrote. There were exact prophecies in the Bible predicting things hundreds of years before they happened that were fulfilled. 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

   I believe in God. 
   
   There a lot of signs in the Heaven and Earth to show us that there is a Creator. 
   
   To many good thing in this world. It is just perfect and fine for our life.  Good food & drinks.
   
   I don't think everything was a coincidence.

   No, I don't believe god or any other power leads us. The only true power comes from believing in oneself. No outside source, good or bad, can affect us unless we allow it to.
