Are you a CAT person or a DOG person??
I love all animals and adore little kitties when I see them, but there's just something I've always prefered about doggies. So I am therefore declaring myself as a "dog person"! Maybe it's because my family has always had dogs and no cats... So what about you? Are you a cat or dog person? And what makes you prefer one or the other? Or don't you? ...
I would say both, but more cat than dog, I have 3 cats (2 seniors and 1 kitten) and 4 dogs (3 yorkies and 1 brindle boxer. I guess you could call me an overall animal planet type person
Dog person definitely, although I have both cats and dogs. Both are good pets in their own ways, but dogs are easier to teach.
I had a cat for years and I always had dogs, so I am both a cat and a dog person.
I like the indipendence of cats and the loialty of dogs
Naturally, cats, though I can't have em around me very long. I'm allergic as all-get-out.
Well, this one is hard for me to answer because I love both animals! I grew up with both cats and dogs but there is something special when a cat sits on your lap and purrs uncontrollably!
I enjoy the loyal companionship of dogs too. I always enjoyed taking my dog out for a ride in the car with her head sticking out the window.
Cats are lower maintenance animals-other than feeding and changing litter box they are pretty independent animals and often difficult to coerce. Dogs tend to do more of what you want them to do, enjoy praise, and can be great friends.
I don't think that I could live without either animal in my life!
Cats! Cats have less down side than dogs. They don't bark for hours on end. They seldom bite people unless you mess with them. They don't tear up your yard, your decking (Sheba my mother-in-law's dog). They are cleaner animals and seldom need baths. You can go out of town 3-4 days leave a lot of food and water, with automatic litter box and no problem. Cats do seem somewhat aloof sometimes but isn't that the nature of a wilder animal? They live on average 5 years longer than dogs.
I really love both! But since I can't have a dog right now in my appartment, I don't know which one I prefer. Right now I have a cat, and I just started training her like a dog, to sit and stuff like that lol. They do like dogs :p
I have a dog but do not consider myself to be a 'dog person'. I am more of a 'parrot person'. When I got my yorkie I was quickly reminded of the work that it takes to maintain a dog - trips to the vet, taking them out to potty etc.
I love my dog and would never 'get rid of her'. I made a commitment to her when I got her and it is til death do we part. But......if something were to happen to her, I am pretty sure that I would not get another dog.
I'm a cat person, maybe because my family always has had a cat or two. I like dogs too. My family had dogs too, but they were outside most of the time.
Definitively dogs. Cats are underrated, but dogs still take the lead.
I like both cats and dogs. If I have to pick one, though, I'd say dogs. They're easy to train to do what you want. Cats, not so much.

Are you a cat person or a dog person?I live with my 3 cats and I know that I am definitely a cat person. I am told that dog are loyal to their masters who they regard as King, while cat owners are slaves to their cat who think that they (the cats) are King.
