The best way to pull yourself out of a slump is to call and talk to a friend or family member. You may feel that you are in a "funk" but there are friends out there who can pull you out of it with a simple telephone call or an email.
One of the best remedies for ridding yourself of the blues or pulling yourself out of a funk is to do something for someone else. Do some volunteer work or just a random act of kindness. Thinking of other people takes our minds off of our own troubles and puts our energy into something useful.
