Every denomination has different customs and beliefs based around different key points in the bible.
*The Church of Christ believes that vocal praise should not be accompanied by instruments and that every other denomination will not make it to heaven.
*Lutherans are very similar to Catholics in their beliefs except that they are less formal and don't believe in purgatory or buying your way into heaven.
*Baptists are very literal about the bible and their churches tend to be an emotional experience with a lot of testimonials.
*Nazarenes are more laid back and believe the bible is open to interpretation by the modern world and in the holy trinity.
*Four-Square churches are modern and believe first and foremost in witnessing by example they also speak in tongues.
and well, you get the idea.  The important thing to remember is the one tie between all walks of christianity, Jesus Christ is their central figure as the son of God and a divine martyr who died for the sins of the multitude.

Many people claim to know Jesus but on the day of judgement (when it's too late) they're going to realize not only did they not know Jesus but Jesus will profess He never knew them Matthew 7:21-23.
If someone where to ask me what they had to do to go to heaven my response would have to be the same as Peter's when he was asked "what shall we do" the day the New Testament church was birthed. and Peter's response was "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ  for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (I use the King James version) Acts 2:37-38
That is how you are born again of water and of the Spirit John 3:3-5
The Gospel is the death, burial, & ressrrection of Jesus Christ(1 Corinthians 15:1-5), so how do we obey the Gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8)
Romans 6:1-7  helps give us the understanding: We die (death)to our sinful ways through repentance  We are buried (burial)  with Him through baptism and we will be resurrected (resurrection) if we have His Spirit dwelling inside of us. Romans 8:9-11

Ephesians 4:4-6  There's only one way!

The church began in Jerusalem in the book of Acts not in Rome (Romans 10:9) that was a letter to a church already born again.

Falsehood causes division and thus they live out that reality in their many divided denominations....

Find that which is unique yet common among them and there you find the lie.
