Do you think the world will end in the year 2012?

Lately I have noticed a lot of media about the year 2012 being the end of time, What do you think if anything will happen in 2012?

It will definitely end for about 70 million people.  That is my very rough estimate of the number of people who now die in ANY year.

I agree with Dabaener, but for the rest of us (if I am not one of the 70 million!) it will be fine.

the truth about the prophecy is a change not an end so no i donĀ“t think the world will end plus is seems that every 5 or 10 years the world is going to end and nothing ever happends. just live the to fullest if the world ends be sure you have no regrets =P

Since the Middle Age humanity predicts "the end of the world" comming soon.  It is so boring - why we live if we constantly try to destruct our creation?

Before story about 2012 , bad prediction was set up for beginning of millenium. When we survived 2000, it was said that 2001. is actually  the real beginning of millenium and will bring doomsday. After 2001. passed by, people decided that 2012 is ending of the world. When 2012 will pass by, people will find some other date for apocaliptic predictions.

Apocaliptic predictions have purpose to control people - while being afraid from the end of the world, they can be easily manipulated.

    No, I do not.

The Mayan calendar stopped  because they were starting another section of time and did not go on. There is always those that want the earth to end, who knows why, and keep predicting it. Religion and superstition play a big role in these End Time predictions.

I say enjoy your life and stop worry about all this stupid stuff.

    To be honest...
I dont think that we will be alive when the world does end.   I think we still have a very long and happy life on this planet and it is sad to say but in my opinion the world will end probably when our great great great grand-children are inhabiting this world.

You never know...it might not end...

The Day ... Stands Ordained ... But only, The Creator, Knows When.

Our thinking, or not thinking ... about The When ... does not count ... Whats important is for us to Follow, The Ordained.

The Act of Creation ... and The End of Creation ... Is, God's Business ... only those, who do not understand this Truth, make these silly Predictions ...

A lot of people suspect the world is going to end because of the Mayan Calendar. What many people fail to realize is that the Mayan calendar does not end, instead it works in cycles. One of those CYCLES comes to an end this year, not the calendar all together. 2012 is all about change. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed but the world has changed dramatically over the past 10 years and I suspect that things will be much much different by the end of this year. The calendar doesn't predict an end to the world, but an end to the world AS WE KNOW IT. Things will be much different by the end of 2012
