This generation of teens where raised with computers, video games and other electronic gagets. Try and get them involved in social activites. Families can eat at the kitchen table and talk to one another. This could help teens to increase their social skills.
I presume you mean, why are teenagers addicted to gadgets.
It comes from priming them when they were children, the manufacturing companies bombarded them with advertising at an impressionable age. What was the Jesuit saying, something like, 'give me a child under seven and I will give you a good Christian for life.' People are now hard wired into succumbing to advertising, we often hear, or say ourselves, sentences that are based on advertising jingles or catch phrases. The advertising industry is so big because it works, and it works because all of us allow it to work, we've stopped thinking.
One reason is because teenagers are curious and want to experience something new. Gadgets also can make those teenagers happy. Another is they want to show the public that they have it.

Why are so many parents letting time go by to the point that they wake-up one day with obese child I think parents are more or less responsible for unhealthy kids.

Will President Donald Trump lower the bar for "once vulgar" offensive language?Consider him repeating a supporters reference to another candidate as a female body part. Will it be appropriate to make fun of and belittle people? Will he do a 180 after election?

Why do teenagers shut themselves away in their rooms? We've all been there, but why do we shut ourselves away as teenagers and don't communicate as well with our parents during this time?

Have you ever wondered why masses of otherwise rational people follow demagogues like Hitler and Trump without question? Most weren't very bad people, so how could they follow an obviously corrupt men? I know I have and never came to a satisfactory answer. Then I recently read some...
