When we become aware of our negative attitude,Why dont we change?
Several reasons come to mind:
It's easier to "be at rest" than to do the hard work of change (inertia at work in our behavior).
Having something to complain about is easier to do (blame) than to eat the crow pie and accept our own responsibility...and then change.
The whole process of being negative feeds the negative attitude, much like a "negative feedback loop" in electronics and sound (setting up microphones for a gig for example). The whole affair with negativity is a self-cannibalism that perpetuates and feeds on itself.
I can think of a few reasons why its in our (some people) nature not to change...
1. Change is difficult.
2. Some are content with being who they are
3. Some don't see it as a real problem
4. Some are just anal retentive
5. Some shift blame instead of taking the blame when necessary..
I am sure there are more reasons, but, these are the ones that are forefront in my mind..
We are lazy, we hate changes and we love the way we are.
even if we learn that we have this -ve thing, we wont make an endeavor to fix it but just avoid it.
and yes its hard to give up on -ve stuff
as for me: I have my ray of hope
Because it is easier not to change our negative attitudes rather than being aware of them and then letting them go.

Are you aware of what you are thinking in every moment? Are they mostly negative or positive? Some modern Philosophies contend that our quality of thoughts reflect our quality of life; agree or disagree? Can you connect the quality of your dominating thoughts to success or failure in your life?
