30 hubs and I only earned $0.05 from one hub

   Can someone help me? What am i doing wrong? My friend told me that I should just make and make and make hubs with researched keywords. For many of my hubs, I have done that but what's weird is that I do not think it is working. lol

   Frank all I can say is give it time, I have heard that it isn't realistic to expect any real income until you have at least 100 hub pages. I have just hit 30 myself and have had 2 clicks! So thats £0.22 profit! Not quite time to break out the bubbly yet but I think its a sign of what could be when we both have created a wide enough net to expose readers to enough ads to see good click throughs. I also have had 1 click with an amazon link but no sale so no money but again I think its a good sign, next person who clicks might buy and that would be a %50 click through! That is actually a pretty good figure. I guess its just a case of be patient and keep writing about anything and everything of interest.

      Not at all.  Look at Misha!  I haven't hit the hundred yet, but I'm cashing out every month now.   It's about quality, not quantity. 
      
      Frank, read Darkside's Hubs about how to layout your Hubs.  Split your text over several capsules to maximise ad positioning.  Do some research on SEO.  Read Lissie's Hubs and blogs about making money online. 
      
      And be patient - I wrote 55 Hubs in my first month but it took me nine or ten months to make my first $100. It snowballs from there, though.

         Oh thatwas so encouraging to hear Marissa ,since those jolly arrows get my hopes up only to be dashed.
         Seems wierd too how one week they can be red and seemingly attracting traffic ,but yet page veiws dont match.
         All week-end my hubscore was highest its ever been (100) ,yet no clicks , and today Im all blue...
         To be honest Id rather be stuffing enevelopes, least Id feel like I was 'achieving' something.
         Sorry just had to vent a bit.

   Different people search for different things at different times. Sometimes you make 5 cents in a day, sometimes you make nothing in a day and then wham! one day you make $2 to $3 dollars in a day.

   Frank - most of your hubs are qute new (written in the last month). It takes a while for them to age and get hits and therefore income.
   
   In the meanwhile, build backlinks to them. (Search this site for info on how to do this - there is plenty of advice already in hubs and in old forum posts).

   Yes, it's post/forums like this that has helped me a lot.  I have made some changes to increase my earnings and seriously, I ma not where I want to be yet.  Good Luck and don't give up.

   traffic = more clicks = more profit. You could write 1000 hubs and get 1 hub view for each hub per day and make a few dollars OR you can perform SEO and especially SEO in the form of getting backlinks from ezine articles and great 100 hubs each with quality backlinks and do a lot better.
   
   having a lot of hubs means nothing if they don't get impressions so definitely check out ezinearticles.com
   
   if you just write 1 ezine article for every 2 hubs so all hubs get backlinks than you would probably over time see a lot more traffic.

    Completely agree with Cls1321, the more traffic you get, the more you will earn, so promote your hubs on ezinearticles.com, use backlinks and pay a lot of attention to the content. Good luck!
