Rather than answer the question, I thought I'd add a little background.
There are several types of evolution, micro- and macro. Microevolution is responsible for changes like drug-resistant germs and isn't really disputed by anyone.
Macroevolution is what causes controversy, as it posits that one species can evolve into another.
Darwin's Theories of Evolution were based upon one man's lifelong observations and a worldwide scientific study ever since.
In the 150 years since Darwin much of his early work and most of his theories have been proved as scientific facts beyond all reasonable doubt.
Are there still questions unanswered ? Yes of course there are.
Are there still gaps in his origin of species ? Again yes and it may take another life time to fill those gaps but the fact is every day we keep trying.
Wise men accept the fact that Darwin was correct and only a fool would call doubt upon Evolution.
Of course there is still a long way to go and Darwin may only have pointed the way but it is a great journey of true discovery.
I don't have to believe in evolution. I look at the evidence for it, use my reason and my education and determine that while the theory is neither perfect nor finished, it illuminates our condition and adds to the sum of our knowledge.
The people who believe contrary to the evidence are people seeking to dignify their prejudices with concepts such as belief and faith.
I happen to believe that the universe is infinitely greater and more complex that we are ever likely to understand. After all, we are only monkeys with five failing senses, what can we know?
I do not however, put myself in company with the pathetic god-botherers who infect these answers, many of whom are mentally defective. The bible is not the word of god. It is the word of priests - a very different thing

I mentioned the phrase "flaws in evolution" in the context of challenging the constant assertion by may that evolution is a proven well understood and accepted fact, as opposed to a flawed theory.Proponents of evolution in Hubpages don't like facing these issues, as it messes with their...

Is it possible to believe in both Creation and Microevolution?A comment on another question sparked this. Those who believe in Creation often scoff at the idea of Evolution eg we can't be descended from Apes etc..Adam and Eve etc. Yet, someone answered with the idea that they believed in...

Out of the whole world, it is probably only a tiny percent that believes in creationism. Yet most of the world's people and other Religions, study Evolution.

Is it possible to know the origin of species without knowing the origin of life? Is to know how life evolves or changes into new species knowing the origin of species? I do not see how understanding the changing of life is understanding the origin of life. Is the origin of species misleading for...
